"I thought that you could never surprise me, and yet here we are." Rogue started, laughing lightly as Remy smiled a mega-watt smile with a good hint of smugness hidden beneath it. "A surprise date, a second proposal, and now here we are, renewing our vows. It almost feels like we were just here last month, saying them for the first time." She took a deep breath, a smile on her face as she blushed lightly. "So here I am, uttering them once more, and hopefully there will be another time after this."
"Remy Lebeau, I have loved you since you crashed into my life twenty three years ago. I may not have realized it then, but I did eventually and I am so glad that I did. You saw my mutation as a challenge, to prove that you could love me even without touch. That you could get me to see that love had no barriers, even when there physically were."
"You, Remy LeBeau, with your sultry smile and mischievous streak that is more than a mild wide, have a charm that still surprises me and a mind that leaves me reeling after a long night." She smirked when Remy flushed pink and there was laughter from their closest friends and teammates. "You have loved me, even when I didn't love myself."
"You have taken care of me, and our children, tremendously well," Rogue winked at Gambit, who's mouth dropped open in shock, "and I could never ask for such a faithful and amazing husband."
"You're pregnant?" Gambit asked quietly, an interruption to Rogue's vows.
"Hush Swamp Rat, I'm talking right now." Rogue responded, and Gambit could only nod mutely, eyes wide with emotion and a slow growing of tears.
