HiLo! Sorry if my visit is sudden, but I'm interested in adopting lamias of any shape and/or size that have been through unfortunate situations (resulting in possible traumas and medical issues)... That is if anyone would like to come home with a kind soul like me?

*You’ve come to the Lamia Bittybones Adoption Center to look for a lamia who needs a chance (possibly a second chance) at a happy home. You know in your heart that a rescue lamia is the right choice for you, so when Vex called you to let you know that two scruffy bandits had arrived, you hurried down to meet them.

*The scruffy bandits don’t really look all that scruffy to you, but Vex explains that the kind person (and their King lamia) who found them also cleaned them up and fed them. Not only are they not scruffy at the moment, but they are also unlikely to try to steal any food. Unfortunately, the Papython is still wracked by guilt over intruding into someone’s home to feed himself and his brother.

*The Papython wrings his hands anxiously. He keeps looking up at Vex apologetically and sniffling. You know that Papythons have a strong sense of right and wrong and that he must have been desperate to consider taking something without asking... and possibly influenced by his Corny companion who doesn’t look the slightest bit guilty and is snoozing on a huge pile of blankets.

*You rush over to the Papython and begin to comfort him. You reassure that nobody will blame him for trying to survive and keep the Corny alive. He’s upset and believes that nobody would want to adopt a criminal Papython and his Corny accomplice. He’s terrified that they will end up back outside, and he will either have to hunt and kill or steal to feed them both. You quickly put his fears to rest.

*You tell him that you can provide a safe home with food and shelter for both of them, all past crimes forgiven. You assume that no new crimes will need forgiving. The Papython almost melts in relief. He hugs you, crying. A real home is all he ever wanted... and the Corny? He opens a snoozy eye, declares you to be “pretty cool” and allows the Papython to pick him up and carry him to the front desk so that you can sign the paperwork for both of them.
