she finally gets a fucking keyblade, learns how to fight, and STILL ENDS UP BEING THE PERPETUAL DAMSEL IN DISTRESS AND USED SOLELY TO PUSH SORA’S CHARACTER PLOT FORWARD
is treating her as her own character really so hard? jfc I’m mad. stop fucking kairi over like that, she deserves to be treated better
actually stop fucking over ALL the female characters
there’s so few already and out of all of them aqua is the only one treated with any modicum of respect. the other three, in all honestly, personality-wise, are almost carbon copies of each other. kairi, namine, and xion are too similar. aqua is the only one with a distinct personality. and like kairi, they were all used to push a male characters personal plot. it’s lazy and unfair to these women who deserve more. i can only hope they get treated better in future games
where tf is sora. shibuya? did he end up there after he (obviously) sacrificed himself to bring kairi back? how and why? why is riku there too? the 104 building says they are in twewy-verse shibuya, which is kinda exciting bc I’d love to have those characters back. but then yozora is there too, so maybe verum rex and twewy share this verse, which again would be cool. and then master of masters...lmao ppl speculating it’s sora but idk. literally anything can happen bc nothing in this series makes sense but i really don’t want him to be sora. feels a little like a cop out
basically i’m hype af for the next major title and where the series gonna go now that the dark seeker saga has ended. i didn’t like creepy old man xehanort but honestly I’d be really into stuff about young xehanort back story 👀👀👀 before everything. baby xehanort and baby eraqus are everything
so overall i have...very mixed feelings. I loved it but also it felt...weird. maybe bc everything all these games have been leading up to has finally come to an end and i’m sad about it and also anxious about all the directions this series could possibly go
what if they phase sora and everyone out as main character? i can’t deal with that. sora IS kingdom hearts
