Ok learning to use Mailvelope rn. It is an end-to-end encryption tool which comes as a browser extension, among other versions.

Can't find any resources on whether it is a reliable one.

Ok So it turns out using an online tool such as a website or browser extension is unsafe because then those will know your private key and pass phrase. Supposedly that's too big of a risk and could result in a man in the middle attack.
