I kinda want to do this but I kinda don’t want to make a cashiers life hell,
If you eat a raw dead rat in 2019 you deserve the bubonic plague
we’ve all thought about eating a pigeon but it doesn’t mean you just pick one off the street and bite into it
this post is… not great.
the people who died were an ethnic Kazakh couple in a small Mongolian town. they didn’t eat a dead rat, they ate raw organs from a marmot they had hunted.
the plague is an endemic disease in Mongolia, spread largely through contact with marmots (largely as a result of their fleas). unfortunately, due to a lack of information, some people in Mongolia subscribe to the folk belief that eating raw marmot will lead to good health.
this couple contracted the disease–which is very treatable with antibiotics–but did not receive adequate care in time and, as a result, suffered horrifically before dying. they left behind four children, ranging in age from 14-years-old to 9 months. they did not deserve to die.
BuT eAtInG aNiMaLs Is NaTuRaL
hey uh i usually try not to be this rude but… fuck you.
how dare you try to twist a tragedy into an unrelated conversation about veganism/vegetarianism? how dare you shame two people who just died painfully for their diets?
this is not a fucking discussion about eating meat. this is specifically about eating the raw meat of an animal that can carry the disease.
i hate to break it to you, but eating meat IS natural. humans are naturally omnivores—just look at our teeth. choosing to eat only plants is FINE but it is not what we were biologically designed to do, which is why extra effort must be made to ensure you’re getting the necessary nutrients. i say all of this as someone who also doesn’t eat meat.
veganism isn’t fucking possible in much of the world. we are privileged with our ability to make such specific dietary choices—people in remote locations in developing countries often do not have the luxury of a choosing such a tailored diet. they eat what’s available to them, which is often animal products.
you are not morally superior to people who are not vegan.
eating meat in general will not give you the fucking bubonic plague. no one will get the plague if they eat a burger. you are why we get made fun of.
I legit stopped reading after your second point because of how dumb you sound
……………i literally studied biology and am sharing basic scientific information.
Apparently not hard enough! Humans are actually frugivores! I cannot take anyone seriously who says “look at our mouths” (what a fucking joke!)
1 of the 5 things you stated is factual, the rest are your opinion, whether you like that or not
…..what?
humans have canines and incisors for tearing meat and molars for eating plant matter.
we don’t have cellulases or cellulosic symbionts, which many herbivorous species have in order to facilitate a solely plant-based diet. we, do, however have proteases, which are enzymes designed to break down proteins and peptides, like many carnivores and omnivores.
at the same time, we have things like sucrase, which facilitates the breaking down of fruits, and salivary mylase, which helps break down starches. this shows we didn’t evolve as strictly carnivores.
also, like many carnivores and omnivores, we require vitamin B12, which doesn’t have a common plant source, hence why non-meat eaters must take supplements or eat B12 fortified foods.
all of this indicates that we evolved to eat meat and plant matter. Homo sapiens were never frugivores.
i am praying you are a troll, because otherwise you’re just a very rude and generally unpleasant person.
Did you copy this from your bio textbook? Your arguments are utter bullshit and I wish I had the energy to continue this. Block me… go have a problem with some other shit
tumblr user iwilleatyourenglish, someone who very easily said they personally do not eat meat in their second post: very basic biology facts that anyone with common sense can research tumblr user veganvyper: I don’t have an argument for this so BLOCK MEEEEEEE
why didn’t these stupid idiots from rural Mongolia just go to Whole Foods to buy some Morning Star veggie burgers……why didn’t they just acknowledge veganvyper’s superior worldview and cultural beliefs……smh
How is “Did you copy this from your bio textbook?” supposed to be an argument. If this information were copied from a biology textbook, that’s a pretty good indication that it is biological fact.
Heres some things that will make you miss your child-hood!

fucking team rocket:
He is Leng Jun and his paintings are considered the most realistic ones in the world. See why:
One of the last scenes we were filming Gifted in was in a pound, a kennel. I foolishly walked in and I thought, ‘Are these actor dogs or are these real, up for adoption dogs?’ And sure enough they were, so I was walking up and down the aisles and saw this one dude and he didn’t belong there. I snagged him and he’s such a good dog. They aged him at about one, he acts like a puppy, he’s got the energy of a puppy, he’s just such a sweetheart, he’s such a good boy. He loves dogs, he loves kids, he’s full of love.
