okay arkayner in chief what do we think about the blatant romanticism of kayne saying to arthur while holding him in part 60 “ i will lay waste to this city in your name.”

I mean he already did in 20 if you think about it...he says he "got bored waiting" so I think that was just him trying so so so hard to not interfere with arthur, looking for anything to keep himself busy. he's probably done it a lot of times honestly, maybe he destroys a carcosa before every time he talks to arthur, reminding himself of the first time. maybe he does it every time the arthorchestra messes up because he knows he can't kill too many of them. in any case it's certainly been in arthur's name; I know he's talking about him while casually dismembering several people. he's definitely thinking about dismembering arthur the whole time.
