I told myself I'll never settle; always set new goals. Yesterday I ran the #NYCHalfMarathon My legs are sore & my knees are swollen, but nothing that a couple Motrin & ice packs can't fix. I truly have the best fiancè ever, who tracked me throughout the whole race to make sure he cheered me on throughout the race & to meet me at the finish line. (at Central Park)

Today presents with the most applicable #TBT ever! I started this journey in 2014 with the hopes of becoming an NP. It took 3 long greuling years. I worked full time & went to school part time. We were encouraged to drop work to a part time status & I thought they were crazy. I transferred working from Interventional Cardiology to the MICU, the semester I started clinicals. I completed my 250 hour requirement per semester, all while keeping my full time night position. Needless to say I graduated in 2017 & 9 months later I sat for the ANCC board exam. Today I formally introduce Kimberly Mae R. Carreon MSN, RN-BC, AGPCNP-BC (at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing)
