What if the super villain girl from dcshg 2019 had evil versión like tadc
So I had to look up what this was bc I had no idea what you were talking about, but when I saw the pictures I was like "oh ye, I've seen them."
Were these the girls you were talking about? I like the way that look, but I know nothing about the show. I love having excuses to draw evil versions of characters tho, so I'm already intereste lol
That did get me thinking though, would the evil version of a bad/evil character be a good guy? If so, what would be the opposite of an antihero?
Couldn't sleep so I decided to reread the trolls series that hints at brickory, and I had a sudden question:
Would there ever be a point where someone figures out what Branch did to his arm? Or is it going to be one of those never-mentioned-but-highly-insinuated kinda deals? Where he never explicitly explains what happened, but they conclude that be likely did something to it?
Hi! Again! Thank you for the ask!
So, I had originally planned the upcoming chapter of Branch in Lonesome Flats being persuaded into going to a doctors appointment.
He would have been in denial of going before Grampy Coal encouraged by saying something along the lines of, "Kid, your arm? It's bad. Really, ya ain't subtle. It's Bad with a capital B. Everyone in town already knows it's bad. You know it's bad. Ya just gotta hear it's bad one more time from the doctor, and you can start making your arm a little less bad. Maybe heal it completely."
So Branch would've surrendered and gone to the doctors appointment. And when asked what happened with his arm. He'd be resigned into confessing the tools used to cause the damage was anit stomach acid and sandpaper. (The acid admittedly raised some questions that led to a more relaxing discussion about pest control.)
The country troll doctor, Grampy Coal, and the whole of lonesome flats really, already understand that Branch hurt himself, as a troll who had lost his harmony, so they don't put Branch under interrogation over it.
So the question is less about whether or not people know what Branch did to his arm, and more if they find out "Why?"
I haven't come up with a solid scenario to Branch's confession to Hickory (or the Bounty Hunter Gang) but it's something along the lines of Branch having a Grey Day and him thinking about Poppy and basically telling the long winded story of the Paint Incident in order to ask Hickory...if he, Branch, is really as bad as a Bergen?
Like Branch knows/believes he's terrible but surely he can't be as bad as those genocidal monsters, right?
And Branch tries to downplay the paint part of the paint incident specifically, cuz Poppy was just trying to help again.
But Hickory doesn't have any of it. Hickory feels like he’s losing his mind and about to explode because "What do you mean she tried to fucking cover up your grey skin with fucking paint? And THEN she compared you with a BERGEN for being upset?!"
Note, Hickory still doesn't know what a Bergen is. But him and Branch have been companions for so long that Hickory knows that Bergen's killed his grandmother and had ruined his life.
So to discover that Branch's supposed love (as in Branch is still in love with Poppy) and friend, who had made it her intrusive mission to help Branch had compared him to a Bergen, most likely KNOWING Branch's fear and hatred of Bergens...
Hickory doesn't exactly have a great opinion on Scrapbook Fake-name.
You might wanna check Tumblr's user guidelines regarding sexually explicit material. If you post drawn porn on this site, you can and will be reported and banned for breaking the guidelines.
I am aware of the guidelines, and most of the "nsfw" stuff I had posted were before Tumblr got super strict and anal about these kinds of things
HOWEVER
I have discovered that if I DO NOT touch or interact/edit any of my past nsfw posts, then they'll fly under the radar and can stay up, so I'm just kinda anxious to fuck around w that past stuff
But I will likely post snippets of drawings I do that are merely suggestive, and keep the downright pornography to other sites like Twitter [X] and even rule 34
Long story short: you can only find my nsfw art if you're actively looking for it
I like to think Floyd had been a slut for years due to reproductive instincts going into overdrive to encourage repopulation as a result of coming back to a dead Troll Tree and assuming his entire tribe got eaten.
(I suggest tagging this as "trollsnsfw" so minors and those uncomfortable with nsfw will block that tag and be able to avoid it.)
Lol, I like the emphasis on Floyd being a slut for this XD
And while I usually view topics like this in a more analytical light and less of actual nsfw, I see what you mean and that's probably a good idea, so I'll do that
If we wanna talk about reproduction and why animals feel the drive the begin mating, I'll talk about what actually triggers animals to begin reproductive cycles and why.
They're not going to be like humans, where we can pretty much do it whenever we like, and because we can do it whenever, women menstruate monthly to keep the uterus constantly prepared.
Lots of animals rely on environmental cues and resource availability to trigger their heats, and I wouldn't be surprised if Bergens 100% took advantage of this.
1. Daylight hours
Extended or decreased daylight can indicate optimal chances of offspring survival. Either because its indicating the end of fall or the beginning of spring, and if an animal has a long pregnancy, they may choose to mate late fall and be pregnant during the winter so the offspring is birthed in spring. Alternatively, if they have a short pregnancy, than the beginning of spring is great as everything will be warm and grown and ready when the offspring arrives.
2. Temperatures/Weather
Can be tied to the first reason, as temperatures and weather often indicate which season is approaching.
3. Food Availability
Also tied to the first two, whether there's even enough food to handle is a big indicator for animals. If lots of animals share similar mating instincts, then this can either be good (lots of foods available) or bad (viewed in nature as the food).
Besides environments, lots of social and behavior cues can also indicate reproductive instincts. The availability of a mate, hormones and territories, courtships, and even just feeling safe.
Being captured by Bergens probably screwed over the [pop] trolls' instincts like crazy. Suddenly being captured and confined within a limited space, all living under one tree, constantly under surveillance and not knowing when the next feeding will be... that's a lot of stress for a little guy.
And if we want to keep believing that early Bergens (before the first movie) were downright HORRIBLE, then maybe they did some things to mimic those environmental cues to trigger more troll population just to line up with Trollstice, OR...
Maybe Chef just circled the tree and sprayed them with a substance to forcefully trigger those instincts.
As for Floyd (or maybe even John Dory, since he canonically also went back to a dead troll tree), the sudden sight of an empty, dead tree with no signs of living life would be absolutely crushing. Zero mates, zero community, zero food supply, and habitat dangerously uninhabitable.
Leaving that and suddenly taking refuge in another genre's territory?
Lots of mates...
Lots of food...
Lots of protection...
Lots of structure and stability...
Yeah. I would believe those instincts went haywire.
Bruce clearly got busy, so why not anyone else?
And I think Branch would be a wonderful depiction of a troll who's experienced zero hormonal influence, considering his constant desire to feel safe.
I know I've mentioned before in my Pop Trolls Biology post that some people like to depict Branch as more of a wild animal (physically) than most other pop trolls. Some people write him with sharp teeth, claws, etc.
I originally compared him to a chameleon: color changing that more correlates with mood rather than actual survival. I had also loosely brought up most people's preference for making him more tolerable to meat, while most pop trolls stick to plants and an herbivore diet.
But I never actually went into detail about how Branch would end up so vastly different from the others, and not have it be because he was grey.
This was mainly because I wasn't entirely sure why myself, either, but I knew that there had to be some sort of reasonable explanation for him to evolve so differently from the others, even though he's the same generation as them. That's when it hit me, though.
Vertical Vs Horizontal Gene Transfer.
I'll explain what these are and why they're so important.
Vertical Gene Transfer (VGT) is literally what reproduction is: a parent passing their genes down to their offspring. Imagine a family tree, which goes from top to bottom; it's literally passing genes vertically down.
Horizontal Gene Transfer (HGT), however, is the act of one organism literally passing its genes to another organism. They don't always have to be the same organism or even the same family or domain, either. It's most common with bacteria, viruses, and even fungi, and while it's most prevalent in prokaryotes (the earliest of living cells), it can be found in eukaryotes (cells that make up most living things).
When a eukaryote experiences HGT, it's typically through viral infections that the body fights off and then incorporates that DNA into its own.
Knowing this, we can say that Branch is the result of his constant exposure to outside threats and conditions that had gone untreated, but his body naturally fought off.
Another cool thing about genetics is that, sometimes, certain genes in our bodies won't ever be expressed unless under very specific conditions and stressors. Maybe once upon a time, pop trolls were more animalistic and wild, but as they domesticated themselves (or were domesticated by Bergens), those traits have gone silent but never truly left. But as Branch seemingly returns to those feral living conditions, the adrenaline and hormones reactivated those genes and became more prevalent as he got older, and because he's actually utilising those traits, they got expressed more obviously.
While the votes are officialized now, here was the version in yellow a couple of you recommended
One reason I held off on yellow was bc technically speaking, Jax is composed of 3 colors: purple, pink and yellow, and so I tried to keep to the 3 color variation here
Also, the green was the result of me drawing Jax in a blueish yellow color most people do and then inverting that color. But not even I was a huge fan of that lol
For the record, I am pretty much pulling shit straight out of my ass, and I am fully ready to dump this theory if I need to. But now that the thought is in my head, I need to know what you all think of it.
When Ragatha mentions still missing a life, Kinger manifests a butterfly for her to use as health
When she asks, all Kinger says is:
"I made it up!"
This is such an interesting thing to happen that nobody is bringing up. And I feel like this is elaborated on by Jax, when he's telling Pomni to not overthink anything and to just "let loose," and the things you want to happen will happen. This implies that the "characters" do possess some ability to warp the rules of the digital circus to their liking.
Which got me thinking:
Is this why Jax has a key to EVERYTHING?
Did he just... say the key unlocked everything, and it worked?? If so, how much power does this grant them? Is this able to interfere with Caine's abilities? Does everyone know this?? Ragatha clearly didn't, since she was appalled by Kinger showing it off, even when he didn't elaborate on it.
And then I couldn't help but wonder.
Is this how Ribbit abstracted?
Did Ribbit discover this and abuse the system? Kinger absolutely would've been around long enough to know of Ribbit and Jax's friendship and all the stuff they got up to and got away with (going off the assumption they were both chaotic idiots just having a good time).
I think Caine got pissed at Ribbit for constantly breaking his games/cheating the system, and deliberately made him lose his mind until he abstracted.
We already get the impression that when Caine said he had no control over the people's minds in the pilot, he was lying. Even Jax figured that out.
And while I don't think Jax KNOWS Caine is at fault for Ribbit's demise, he at least knows that it's better to "play along" than to fight it.
I like to think Metal troll bones, plus claws, spines and teeth, would have a metallic sheen to them. And I imagine their bones are as hard as steel if not harder, which I imagine would make them barely edible to Bergens and more valuable to them as a source of metal or jewelry or a drug to be smoked or spritzed.
I imagine what makes their bones shiny could be because they inhale metals in the air, whether it's because of their volcanic environments with Rock or if many of them are metal workers, or even if metal shavings go flying due to concerts. Their body could have adapted to utilize these particles as a protective layer over their bones, not only making them a little shiny, but also adding a layer of strength.
This would make them very unpleasant to consume, taste wise or texture wise.
If a Bergen wanted to use Metal trolls to smoke, they would likely do so just so they could get a sense of "calm" that metal trolls would be so known for. Most metals found in cigarettes are the result of toxins being absorbed into the tobacco because of soil and pesticides, as well as during the manufacturing and processing stages.
If a Bergen were to use Trolls as decoration, like special metal or designed jewelry, then they would likely just recycle every part of the troll except the bones, claws, teeth, etc, if they don't see any value in the other parts.
