A Visit
Fleur didn’t get visited by anyone but the king himself when he felt like it. Her food would be passed through a slot in the door, saying she has been quite vigilant. Fleur tried every time the door would open. Many times, if she wasn’t singing and dancing amoung her plants and flowers, she would sit upon her bed as if ready to pounce at any chance.
Once more, Fleur was taking her stance there, sitting… waiting… perched… Something felt different. She could hear the guards becoming stiff… tense. Someone was going to visit her. This time.. She will try to climg over the king’s face! That will distract him long enough right? Then… it happened. She heard some strange distant murmuring from the other side of the door. The bed didn’t even creak as she slid off of the comfy furniture. She tiptoed over to the door, rocking back and forth as she prepared herself to jump as the door moved. Only… It wasn’t AZ… Fleur bounded.. only to bang against the door when Valerie came in. A soft squeak came from the flower maiden as she fell back to the ground, just besides her intruder. Her nose was red when she twirled around. Then she scooted herself back away from this black haired maiden. Something about her.. she smelled of flowers… such beautifully sweet flowers… But something about it made her chest clench up. She slid herself against the wall, sliding back to her bed and crawling under it. “Maiden… who watches the prisoners…” In the beautiful greenhouse… There is a rumor of a law that has swept the land. A rumor that is only a truth. A truth that involves the world to lose the flower fairies…. placed within a cage of a paradise. "Do no come close to me. I will not go there."
She was not expecting Fleur to crash into the door. "Oh my goodness! Are you alright? I am terribly sorry!" She gasped, closing the door behind her and putting her koto against the wall. She hoped she wouldn't get in trouble for injuring Fleur...she didn't mean to!
She moved to help Fleur up...but she was able to get up on her own it seemed. Her nose was red...poor dear! But it was apparent that the flower maiden didn't want to be near her by the way she scooted back, She wouldn't force it. She wanted to be friends with the pokemon the king loved so very much.
Prisoners...she wouldn't use that word. They were trapped in the greenhouse, yes...but she gave them everything they wished for...she took care of them. She would sing and dance and play beautiful music for them. She would bake them treats and help them make nests. That isn't what prisoners received. They were locked up in dingy cells with barely anything. Her smiled faded into an expression of sorrow...it would appear becoming friends with Fleur would not be easy.
"I do not wish to take you away...I am only here to be your friend. I wish to play you a song...or I could sing and dance if you prefer." She said, gesturing to the koto up against the wall.
