Like they tried to change Reblogs and people rightfully got up in arms, this is a LOT worse. In order to have access to any sort of thing dubbed mature, and We haveALL seen what they think is mature, Everything from a black and white photo of a black woman's arm, to posts about IUD recalls, to a nude painted by a 17th century artist, to anything involving the word Trans; you have to send your personal information to a third party site that WILL get hacked, and you will be doxxed. And they can say "Oh shit, well it wasn't us who sent your name address and gender identity to Moldovan teenagers, here's a couple extra minutes in the ball pit.

That's bad enough!!!!!!!! But the entire idea of needing permission from state authorities to access anything labeled mature by our friendly AI overlords is some fucking Boll shit. Die Gedenken Sind Frie baby. This is all a reaction to people getting uppity about their lowly lowly rights and is being propped up by the same bad actors tht have made life unlivable. Fuck that shit.

"Well it's only being rolled out in Brazil and UK" Yeah, to start. "Well they're being forced to do this by laws." YOu know it's always really funny when these tech giants (Or whatever you call owning tumblr dot com) get really antsy about laws considering they pick and choose which ones they abide by.

This is a breaking point and it's going to be very interesting to see how we proceed from here.

I keep seeing people on Twitter being all "I'm sure they'll be more respectful and mindful of the Quileute tribe this time around."

Except, they won't be. Even if they get actual Native American actors to play these characters, even if they bring on a Native American to serve as a cultural advisor, it wont matter. Why? Because Smeyer appropriated a real Native American tribe and twisted their culture and history in her fantasy books for her own profit.

This fictional Quileute Tribe is and always will be disrespectful to the real life Quileute tribe.

This is a hell that us down under in Australia are already living in, and it’s not even effective at what it claims to do in protecting children.

Given that, in the wake of this mandatory identification policy, my country seems to be moving to hand over its citizens biometric data, like fingerprints, Face ID files, and identification documents, over to the USA and to ICE to maintain the visa free travel (ESTA) we have, I strongly urge any US resident to send these emails, or make calls.

But if you can’t do that, the most powerful thing you can do is spread the word. Tell your friends, family, coworkers, anyone who can help.

My reach will likely be small, and so I don’t know if this will mean very much in the grand scheme of things, but I cannot stand to see this tracking happen to another population as it did to mine.

And if you think it won’t affect you, it will. All anonymity goes out the window when your accounts can be linked via your personal ID

I wish you all luck in preventing this act from going through.

A Tumblr user called me saying they reported my account by accident and I needed to call a Tumblr support on Discord: Jarell Perry (this Tumblr user account was already hacked, now I know that)

Then I called this guy on Discord. I was desperate cause in the "warning" said my account would be blocked in 24 hours. But the whole conversation was REALLY strange, even more when he gave me, OUT OF NOWHERE, his "certificate":

He asked, then, for me to change my email and I was like "what kind of support would ask this crap?"

Besides my suspicions, TWO things saved me to fall for this shit:

I know a lot of people criticize the way female characters are written in BNHA and I’m not even gonna deny that or their sexualization but I also think that calling all of them ‘2D’ or ‘unpolished’ just isn’t true?

I’m taking Momo as an example because I can identify with her a lot and I think she’s very well written. She’s smart and comes from a good home, she had a scholarship for UA and was obviously very confident.

Then that confidence was shaken and she had to rebuild it. She struggled a lot to get to the point of calling herself strong and trusting her abilities.

She has flaws (spontaneous decisions, relying too much on her brains) and she has strengths (her loyalty and desire to protect her friends).

Just like Kyoka and Ochako who both have their fears and character traits.

I’m not saying that sexism isn’t a problem in female characters but I also think that it’s important to acknowledge that some of them do have great or at least enjoyable and relatable writing

YES! Momo has a perfect arc about self confidence and i love it so much! You can really see it culminate in the gigantomachia fight. Plus there's that anime original episode in the licensing arc against the all girls school. That was a perfect Momo episode. I agree there's def a problem with some female characters, like Star and Stripes who was only introduced to be killed off or Midnight who i personally feel had great potential but was used as a joke too much. She had such awesome moments in beginning of the war that i think we all knew she was about to be killed off.

Heck, i find an issue with male characters getting shafted by the story more than female characters. See Enji's arc and Dabi's end. But also how Idia was pretty much dropped from the story after the Stain arc and i feel like his character arc never actually resolved satisfactorily

I think I've finally fully formed my thoughts on Momo's costume (MHA)

MHA has a problem with over sexualizing their female characters. If you look at the costume choices, the camera choices, what's immediately noticed and talked about, the bath scenes, Bubble Girl, Bubble Girl's tickling segment?????

Momo and the rest of the 1A girls aren't immune. She's definitely sexualized and it's a large turn-off for a lot of people, fans like myself included.

HOWEVER, Momo's top is not one of the problems. It's pretty reasonable.

When your power is to summon objects from your skin, having lots of unimpeded skin is the objectively correct choice. The largest continuous areas of skin on your body are your back and your chest, in that order. Due to how we are built to move, our chest is way faster and less strenuous to reach. All this adds up to having at least an open front.

I would argue that ideally, you should have both your chest and back exposed. In fact, if Yaoyorozu were a man, I would argue he should go shirtless; It's what I would do with that power.

As for the rest of her costume,

Yeah I got nothing. Where are her pants. Why does her skirt look like belts. Why are ALL the women's hero costumes skin tight. Don't get me started on Tsu, or gods forbid on Bubble Girl. Fuck.

Okay so I said a few things in the replies but I’m on my lunch break now I want to add more OP.

So I’m not quite sure how you feel about Tsu, because I always interpreted her costume as a wetsuit? Since she did so much water stuff and wetsuits are naturally skin tight.

Bubble Girl I totally agree with. Seriously wtf.

MHA has a serious costume issue with women.

I suggested zippers for Momo in the replies, but you did raise a great point about them getting stuck. I don’t think Momo is above destroying the area that’s stuck with whatever item she needs though.

And then there’s Hagakure. My god. Where do I even begin. She’s naked!? What if she gets punched in the bare stomach!? What if it’s winter!? What if she gets knocked unconscious and is bleeding out but no one can find her because she’s naked!?

It is literally canon that Mirio’s costume is made with his DNA to work with his quirk. Why can’t they do the same for Hagakure!?

And then there’s Midnight. That… is a stupid costume and I do love her character but I gotta wonder why she’s allowed to wear that around kids. Not only that but most of it seems really impracticable. Why can’t she have actual cuffs she can use on criminals. Why are so many women fighting in heels!?
