One of my fave parts of the season was Allura connecting with the white lion and reconnecting with her heritage. 

She’s had everything she loved ripped so brutally from her, but in s5 she was empowered to give something by choice. She was prepared to give her life because she is a true life giver, and instead gained magic, wisdom, and unity with what she lost. Allura was so afraid she wasn’t enough, but she is, and a magical being literally uplifted her to prove it was true <3
