Why is the watcher so stressful- why is everything so scary- I can’t think of a single moment in vanilla or downpour that even reaches the amount of uneasy the watcher has put me in for like 50% of my playthrough thus far

Made the mistake of buying a bag of spinach as a person who lives alone so now every single meal I eat for the next 2 weeks is gonna about this damn spinach. We are on 24/7 spinach lockdown. Last time this happened, I made 3 salads and a spinach curry and spinach pasta and STILL half the bag turned to green rot in the fridge. My conception of "what meals require spinach" is rapidly expanding into "what meals COULD conceivably include spinach." I am considering recipes never before seen outside the realms of vegan mommy blogs. By day 10 I anticipate I will probably just do a Land Before Time and take the rest of that shit raw

As a society, we need to go back to understanding that strangers on the internet are, you know, strangers. I feel lately that I'm seeing a rise in 'An author I love blocked me because they took my comment the wrong way' posts on the ao3 subreddit, and then the comment is them calling the author a fucking bitch or something like that.

Don't do this. Tone doesn't translate well in text, and if you don't have a rapport with that author, they are not going to interpret, 'You're a fucking bitch' as, 'Author I hate you for being so talented and making me feel so keenly.' They're going to interpret it as you being an asshole. You can shit talk with your friends because you have an established relationship with them and can distinguish between playful banter and genuine anger. You do not have this with a stranger, no matter how much you like their fics. You will have a much more pleasant time in fandom and not get cockblocked from interacting with your favorite writers if you remember this.

#This is something I’ve been thinking for a long time #I don’t read tone well in text and have had many instances where someone playfully insults me on here #or just says something rude intending to be playful or whatever #but if it’s not very over the top and obvious or if I do not know them (I never know them when this happens-) then I assume they are seriou #people that do not know you do not know your sense of humor and they do not know if you are joking or not when you insult them..#Again like in the post it’s different if you’re friends or even just mutuals because at least you get some benefit of the doubt #But yeah idk anyway-
