across the fish ponds, the city on the another side is Shen Zhen, there was the border between Hong Kong and Shen Zhen. this area was prohibit ten years ago and open for public in recent years. many stowaways escaped to Hong Kong from Shen Zhen in this area when China in the past.

i took this picture on my way back home on a footbridge. it was at the beginning of summer, you could still hear buzz from the cicadas.

My first time to appreciate of the stunning beauty of the whole city submerged in the ocean of cloud.

The tripod was shaky when i took this picture, but the result was special, sometimes you make a mistake but get a surprise.

This was taken in October two years ago, stars as the guider , you never should be afraid of hiking at night alone. along the road down the mountain, there were a couple of large frogs.

after the long night, there is sunrise. there is always something worth your fight and wait.

Sometimes you get lost or get stuck in your life. It is a phase in life to experience, to learn, to grow up. 

Being a photographer, go hiking alone at night is one of the thing i do time to time. some of acquaintance warned me the risk and danger. I took some of them out of kindness, but there are people always trying to persuade you from chasing your goal and they probably have none of it. And it was even frustrated to hear those said that you  photoshop is easier  or the photo you took was stolen from others. 

the people around me are not interested in photography, not even trying to understand,  and even showing disrespect and ignorance to it. that is one of the thing I hate.

Nam Shan Estate is an old public house estate in Hong Kong. thousand of families live in an estate, each apartment looks like a prison cell.

I planed to have picture of city submerged in cloud sea like a city in the sky, but the cloud was gone when I reached to the top. But it was still beautiful to see the star move above the glowing city, for the time I did this photo it was freezing at top of the mountain in spring.

I took this picture at the top mountain in Hong Kong named Tai Mo Shan, whom I can see when I look out from the window of my room. From the time I did this photo was at the dawn of the  last day  in a year according to Lunar calendar. Below the heavy cloud is a busy city with bright light.

I took this picture two weeks ago, the night you would had a perfect view of eight planets line up together. heavy cloud came at 3 am and I failed to catch the picture of eight planets line-up together.
