Last one for now; third pre-season friendly. Beat Limerick 3-2, beat Clonmel Town 5-0, now take Clonmel Celtic 4-0. Real test is Drogheda in first game, away.

You won’t win the league. But you’ll have three of the top goalscorers by the end of the season when you finish bottom.
The 21 players making up the reborn Kilkenny City side for a stab at the Irish First Division.
Football Manager 2017, bringing Kilkenny back from the dead to re-enter the SSE Airtricity First Division. The odds are so long on winning that the news report doesn’t even bother to tell you you’re 100-1 to win the division.
Nearest is Athlone, with a predicted finish of 7th, at 40-1. I’d be straight down to the bookies to get in on this.
Currently: Preseason, 2 wins from 2.
New wallpaper for the new Wileyfox Storm. Batphone, perhaps?
Working on restoring some life into kenmc.com; untouched since May 2014, skeleton posts back to January 2014 and ghostly prior to that again. The heady days of 2006, 2007 and 2008 still draw traffic but the technology blogging era has long departed. Of late, however, I've been rediscovering my love for long form blogging, particularly around sport as so continue to develop kclrfanzone.com. Funnily enough, I think that's going to apply to Any Given Food also, lord knows it's been a quiet 2015 on that front also.
Let the games commence. Much more impressed by PES 2016 demo than that of FIFA 16 this year. Lack of licenses still a pain in the neck around #premierleague teams but definitely more of a challenge in PES. #dayone #pes2016 #proevo #testyourself #ps4 #playstation #videogames #gaming
Getting out of the office to do an hour's work at Starbucks. Venti skinny latte, don't you know. Actually under €4 which is a little surprising. The design on the cups are a treat, while my Galaxy Note hides the Carte Noir notebook beneath.
Doing a wee bit of work on kenmcguirephotography.com to turn it into something manageable; including some custom Instagram feeds. Grand spur to kick on :) #design #branding #instagram #instafood #lunch #foodphoto #foodphotography
The Rugby World Cup is heating up but so too is Lenister club rugby, the South East League well underway as part of preseason activities. New round of photos from Carlow's hosting of Kilkenny at Oak Park on Sunday 13 September now online at kenmcguirephotography.com
Media night in Langton's with video to follow.
Working on brand new sports portal for KCLR in the run into the All-Ireland senior hurling final on 6 September. Check it out online at http://fanzone.kclr96fm.com
Just finished a sell out run of The Union in Kilkenny - I'm 'the wizard of oz' of producing theatre by all accounts tonight. 100% all about the cast and crew, I just watch from the shadows with pride. It's like 2006 all over again, and that was like Italia 90 all over again, only Ireland would have beaten Italy in our script and we'd still be celebrating. Hon Devious.
In A Safe Place by The Album Leaf - a cracking album for night time listening.
Previews of photos heading to kenmcguirephotography.com on Sunday after 10 hours of rugby at the Marble City 7s in Kilkenny on Saturday 20 June.
Terrific few days at The Model in Sligo for APAC15 (All-Ireland Performing Arts Conference). Inspiring speakers, interesting theatrical insights, different points of view, new names, faces and voices.
Having never seen a snip of any of the Mad Max movies, this week's mission was to watch all three originals before hitting Fury Road at the weekend. Mission accomplished. Talk about three crazy movies...
