This is a major issue that I have. Totally forgetting the tense I'm using. Did it already happen... or is it happening now. In the heat of writing, what should be, 'she jumps for joy', turns into 'she jumped for joy. ' Got to watch out for it, it throws you. I'm never exactly 100 percent sure if I use these phrases too much. In writing I always count how many times I've ended a quote this way. Sometimes I even whip out the thesaurus for similar words. Oft time they seem real forced and I go back to the basics. Stick to the evil you know I guess. #writersproblems #writershabit #writersstruggle
