1 more housepost i’m sorry: here’s the thing. i don’t inherently mind wilson getting sick. even having just a health scare. house is under the false impression that wilson will almost always be there; that he’d have to fuck up, in order for wilson to leave. but wilson would still be alive in this equation. the idea of something happening to make house realise he prioritise wilson above everything else, is not an inherently bad one

but making wilson’s cancer terminal in a cancer with a very high cure rate is just ... punishing both house and wilson for no reason. there are other situations in which house would go into the sunset with wilson. like, for example, i don’t fuckin know, because he loves him? sum dumb shit like that?

(like that IS why he rides off into the sunset but the show frames it around the fact wilson is going to die and that’s the problem)

     she’s not mad at shayla - shayla is the last person dom is even capable of being mad at - but worried is a weird, tense ball in her chest, and she says, “ baby, ” in a pathetic, come here please kind of way. dom is taller than shayla. doesn’t matter. she puts her face in shayla’s shoulder. “ phones die, people are late, i know, things - happen all the time, ” she mumbles, “ and normally i don’t worry. you know ? being a cop hasn’t turned me into that kinda person, but. ”
