If you carry pepper spray have it in you hand ready to go, though the only to use it if they are close so carry an umbrella but if you donât have one then spray them and if itâs a guy kick him in the balls and run as fast as you can to a store and another walker(preferably a woman with children)
Try to take routes that are better lit, donât cut through alleys, it may save you some minutes but itâs not worth it
If you can walk with someone, someone you trust maybe someone at work at you live close to each other and text each other when you reach where you live so you know the other is ok
Look them in the eye, if they are walking behind you turn around and stare with the most murder gaze you can at them, let them know you see them
