in a way john watson is a fantasy (what if you had this brilliant enigmatic friend and what if he liked you in particular and what if he offered you the excitement of youth and adventures and a way out of boring society life and all without having to actually give up your status as a gentleman so you could have the best of both worlds) and in a way sherlock holmes is a fantasy (what if someone never got tired of you despite your various strange habits and mood swings and instead of simply tolerating you they genuinely liked you and what if you didn’t have to live alone forever and what if you never had to give up doing the things you love) and of course there’s the most fantastical part of it all (what if you could afford london housing prices)

hihi i have a weird question! ive mostly fallen off of watching dnp since around like 2017-2018 and have only kept up with them through internet news generally speaking, but i've lowkey been wanting to get back into watching their vids especially now that they're out, i was wondering if you had any recs for especially good videos from them i might have missed in my absence? no problem if not!

i have made you (and anyone else this may help) a playlist of videos that, in my opinion, you need to watch at some point if you've missed videos since then:

yes it has 63 videos but i promise i was PICKY and every video here either as a whole is incredible/fun/wild/significant or has a Very Important Moment amongst an otherwise still very enjoyable video! i have it going from oldest to most recent across all three of their channels, but obviously you can jump around based on what videos really grab you most or feel like the vibe at any given moment. i do have one stream on there which is like an hour and a half long and while it is one of those videos that just has multiple genuinely iconic moments, i also get that is more of a commitment but it IS worth it. dan puts a spiked choker on phil and says some WILD shit. also sister daniel.

i also would suggest going through their tiktok if you can 'cause they have uploaded some INCREDIBLE videos since coming out last year. if you don't have tiktok or just don't want to use the app/website, danandphilupdates uploads them here.

i still think the craziest post-hard launch revelation is that phil is suchhhhh a lover. for the first few weeks i thought it was just general excitement about being able to be open but the more time goes on it’s like wow… he loves dan so much and he loves to talk about it

hi mandy do you remember the series of tweets dan replied to where he said something & then phil tweeted something back and everyone “freaked out” that phil “noticed” dan, and dan pretended along with them & it was so cute and wholesome & I can’t find it 😭 i have no idea if what I said makes any sense sorry it’s hard to explain cause I can’t remember the details of the tweets 🤦🏼‍♀️
