Since I'm attempting at Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta this year around, I drew some art to spice up the stream layout. I'll probably update the character art depending on the jobs I get assigned with.

Here's hoping if the SuperGroupies outfits really do end up becoming Riku and Kairi's KHIV (and maybe even KHV?) outfits, the way that it seems like Sora's KHIV outfit is heavily inspired by his SuperGroupie one, that Riku's outfit isn't just black, tbh. Because why would you take out the iconic blue and yellow out of Riku's design? Why?
Kairi being portrayed as a Keyblade wielder appreciation post ✨
So, @keybladebard recently asked me what themes I thought KHIV would have.
And one thing I thought about putting in my response, but ultimately didn't (because I really don't think KHIV will have this theme, but it'd be funny if it did. Maybe it would also be fun to write about in AUs) is the "this isn't my dream, it's your dream" cliché. (Or moreover, the "you're giving up on your dream!" "no, I'm giving up on your dream" one.)
Why? Because the Master of Masters, Luxu, and Foretellers(?) are now imposing things (light and darkness) upon the people of Quadratum upon showing up there.
And the Master of Masters seems adamant that all of his ideals, and his "ends justify the means" approach, are right.
So, you could maybe take that plot and tie it into Disney movies with the aforementioned cliché. Give me my High School Musical world with it. XD

“One for each of us. Somewhere out there, there’s this tree with star-shaped fruit… and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection. So as long as you and your friends carry good luck charms shaped like it, nothing can ever drive you apart”
This is a vent post, feel free to ignore
In hindsight being a “gifted kid” is so funny. You have substantial difficulties with socializing and fine motor skills but we’re going to ignore that because you’re really good at reading chapter books
We don't need to raise this one because it can read novels.
Wifeguys are awesome, y'all are honestly doing the Lord's work. Keep being a little fan boy for that baddie.
And you know what? Let's hear a round of applause for wives that are just as obsessed with their husbands. Y'all genuinely aren't represented enough.
I'd like some advice on portable DVD/blu-ray players. See I finally ordered one a few weeks ago and when it arrived I tested it out.
After watching a movie for ~20 minutes I had to stop because no matter how much I tried to adjust the display settings the screen was giving me eye strain and a headache.
I don't know if it's a problem with the device itself, or if it's just a matter of what screens I'm used to looking at.
I'm used to looking at screens where the picture looks the same regardless of what angle you're watching from. The screen on the player is one of those that looks drastically different when looked at from different angles, sometimes washed out, sometimes with the colors inverted. Of course while watching the movie I tried to watch the screen from the best possible angle, but the eye strain continued.
I'm also used to using eye comfort shields and blue light filters on my phone and laptop, and the portable player doesn't come with any of that, but that's to be expected.
Again, I thought I was uncomfortable with the screen due to personal preferences. However, when I showed the player's screen to family members, they also said it was painful to look at.
For a while I was considering buying an external DVD/blu-ray drive to connect to my laptop instead, but it turns out my laptop probably isn't compatible with external drives.
Do you guys know of any good quality portable players I can buy that don't have any of the issues I stated above?
"we cut the nobody scene from the odyssey" "we cut the religious trauma and parental abuse from carrie" i'm starting to think that studios barely funding original films is starting to have an effect where directors make up a story and then slap an IP on it in order to sell. or maybe some bitches just can't read anymore idk it's one or the other
Last year, I befriended a Catholic seminarian. We've gotten to be pretty decent friends. Seeing as he was staying in town for the summer and I wasn't, I entrusted him with caring for my plant.
He did a wonderful job, but as he was returning my plant to my custody, he explained "I watered her every other day, I gave her new dirt, moved her into the sunshine, prayed the rosary-"
"What?"
He looked at me, confused. "Isn't she a plant you pray with?"
"No," I said slowly. "She's a prayer plant. That's the... colloquial name of the plant."
Upon seeing his stricken face, I realized something went wrong. Turns out, this entire time, he's been including my plant in on his prayers and leaving her near icons.
Listen, totally cool. My plant becoming Catholic is a great deal for her not dying over the summer. But now I must navigate this interfaith household. Keep me in your thoughts.
