Nobody hands you the key to happiness, you have to hand it to yourself. Just like everything else. You create yourself. You find yourself. It’s an independent world, so of course, finding happiness is something you have to do yourself. If somebody else handed you it, it would only be temporary. Where to start? Happiness, what a complicated yet simple thing. We can’t sit back and wait for it. We have to make an effort to discover it. But how do we find the key? The first step is to be content with how you are and who you are. Be who you truly are, not who you’d rather be. We cannot change our souls. You are you for a reason and you belong in this body. If you were someone else, you’d have a different mind, a different soul, a different view, a different life. You have a place in this world. You have a place in this universe, and we are all complicated and flawed, yet beautiful beings. We should be content with that. We live in an independent world. Take it slowly. Treat yourself the way you’d treat the one you love the most in the world. Don’t try to escape who you truly are, just follow your heart. This is your journey and your life.
