Help My Class!

Hello Tumblr!

If anyone has noticed..I have been inactive on Tumblr for a little over a year now. The reason? I got a job as a kindergarten teacher in a low income/high poverty school. My school is all about teaching young African Americans so that they can go to and graduate from college. It is an amazing school, but as you can guess we have limited resources. Teaching 27 little kinders from 7:30-3:00 everyday has kept my VERY busy. But I am here today to reach out to the wonderful people of Tumblr ot help me get some iPads for my lovely little ones. If you haven’t heard of it, DonorsChoose is a website where teachers can ask for donations for supplies and resources for their classroom (Stephen Colbert is a huge supporter of the site) I am trying to get 2 mini iPads for my class so my students can take advantage of educational and reading apps.

Give to my classroom by August 16 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org. Just enter the code LIFTOFF on the payment page and you’ll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100).
