“I plan on doing what I love to for a really, really long time, but also being happy at the same time. I think at the end of the day, you have to be happy with what you’re doing and creating, so as long as I’m happy, I’m good.”

“I plan on doing what I love to for a really, really long time, but also being happy at the same time. I think at the end of the day, you have to be happy with what you’re doing and creating, so as long as I’m happy, I’m good.”
“I met a guy on my first day here and he seemed a lot better than the other ones I’ve run into, so maybe there’s a little bit of hope left? Wait, how are boys allowed to treat girls like that where you live? I don’t understand…I thought men and women were supposed to be treated equal? If any boy or man older than me claimed I didn’t know as much, they’d bring great dishonor to themselves and to their families. I thought that that was simply how the rest of the world worked?”
“Really? Who’d you meet? But, hey, at least you met one guy that seems okay. That’s better than nothing. It’s really if it’s ‘allowed,’ per say, ‘cause no one really monitors those kind of things. And, yeah, men and women are supposed to be treated equally, but that’s not how it actually works, which is complete bullshit. I wish guys here would feel like shit if they even dared to make a girl feel unequal or insignificant or disrespected her, but some don’t give a single fuck. Well, I don’t know where you’re from, but I want to go there.”
“Oh yeah. My modesty iis legendary. I should have the Guiness World Record for most humble person to be honest.” Nell gave a quick nod. “You’ve got a clip with ya?”
“Truly an accomplishment, I’m sure,” Kiara replied in a mock posh tone, plucking a bobby pin out of her hair. “Right here. We’re good to go! We need to do some serious damage.”
If you are real, loyal and down for me I will always be here for you. ALWAYS.
“Is that normal around here? I mean, do all of the boys act like that or have I just not talked to the right ones? I’m, um, not exactly used to this sort of thing. Usually the boys back home at least tried to pay attention to whatever I was saying.”
“I dunno about all the boys, so maybe you’re just talking to the wrong ones. For your sake, I hope they’re the wrong boys and there’s still some hope left in the world for them. Really? Wow, you’re so lucky. I mean, the guys back home tried to pay attention to me, too, but they usually brushed me off ‘cause I was younger and a girl and so I ‘didn’t know as much.’”
“I would but I don’t think the colour really matches my eyes. Do you have one in blue?”
“One in blue?” Kiara repeated, glancing around the room before pulling a frilly blue tutu out of a box. “Looks like you’re in luck.”
“Why do the boys around here act so weird? Every time I talk to one, all they do is just smile and nod or give me a weird look – it’s like they’re not even paying attention to what I have to say.”
“It’s because they’re not. All they see is a pretty face, so that’s all they care about. It’s not fair, but boys can be assholes, and they think just ‘cause someone’s a girl, and a cute girl at that, they don’t have to be taken seriously at all.”
“Okay, yeah, you are right.” She took a deep breath. She was just going to have to do it. Like ripping off a band-aid. “Lumiere and I are dating now.” She said it quickly and her eyes were shut tightly as she waited for her reaction.
Kiara couldn’t help but burst into sharp laughter, something like bitterness tinged to it. And people had the audacity to tell her that she got over Lumiere quickly? She wasn’t the one dating someone else in a span of a few weeks. “Well, can’t say I didn’t see it coming,” she remarked once she’d calmed down, folding her arms across her chest again. That was why she’d broken up with him in the first place---she saw something like this coming a mile away, and though it hurt, it was better than finding out down the road. “I thought you didn’t do relationships,” she continued, an edge to her voice. “But, whatever, at least you two got your shit sorted out. I hope you’re happy.”
“I just might have to do that.” She chuckles before awkwardly scratching behind her ear. “…Yes… Ki, promise me you won’t freak out and be mad at me.”
“Well, you gotta tell me what it is, first,” Kiara replied, crossing her arms. She didn’t want to get mad at her friend, but too much had happened for her to not be defensive.
“Why do they even have all this junk if they’re not gonna use it? Wait, oh my god, they have water guns! Think I can keep one of ‘em?”
“Don’t ask me, but it’s such a waste. These should be shared with the world! Oh my god, who cares if you can’t. Just take it, I bet no one will notice. You can always return it later. Maybe.”
“I mean the French maid outfit is really inaccurate, but other than that it’s pretty cool.” Babette laughed. “Um, Ki, I need to tell you something. Again.”
“Maybe you should let them know that, and they’ll change it,” Kiara quipped with an easy grin, though it fell as Babette continued. “Is this about Lumiere?” she asked, arching an eyebrow.
“That it does. Do you like the theater?”
“Not really sure? My friend just needed help, so I kinda hung around for a bit.”
“Do you know the steps?” Kida asked curiously, not picking up on what she meant at all.
“Oh, no, it’s not that kind of dance! Um, think of it as, like, a a huge gathering of people where they all dance.”
“Are we allowed to try this stuff on – or take it for ourselves? I’m kinda liking all the hats they got back here.”
“If we’re not, too late now, I’ve already gone through half the stuff in here. I dunno about taking it, but I’ve seen some extras lying around. I’m sure they won’t miss one or two.”
“It really does.”
“You should try a crown on, I bet it’d really suit you.”
oh I don’t know I have never seen the theatre department
No, you haven’t? I don’t really come much here either, but a friend wanted some help, so.
