Experiencing burnout in an area you love doesn’t mean you are no longer passionate about that thing, or are any less good at it. It’s often an indication that there are other parts of your life that need your care. A garden looks most beautiful when every flower is watered, and you deserve to nourish yourself in the same way. You will flourish again.

Anytime you’re looking to fill a void, it is your sign to turn within. This feeling of boredom and emptiness is a signal to get you to realign with your true self. The more we then continue to place this energy outside of our own realignment, the more we will feel the void.
And so the cycle will continue until we bravely go within. First, bringing up discomfort and unaddressed pain as we face the truth. And then, the empowerment follows, allowing us to fill ourselves back up in the only way that will truly help us.

It was just... iconic.
“Hey, hey, what do you think he’s dreaming about?”

“Yeah, he looks happy, look.”
“Pff, I dunno, probably dreaming about chasing rabbits, or something like that”

when i was 10 or so i was deathly afraid of vampires so i stole the garlic powder from my mom’s spice cabinet and kept it in my coat pocket and if i was out at night with like my parents and thought someone was acting really sus i’d try to surreptitiously sprinkle a lil garlic powder on them
like imagine a weird little girl deciding you failed her vibe check and promptly seasoning you
yeah yeah yeah mortifying ordeal of being known and all that but sometimes a friend mentions something about you that you didn’t think was noticeable and it feels like your heart is being cradled in their hands
