PLOT: Garreth just wants to burn it all down

author's note: my apologies if this is too short, it's a blurb hehe, im just trying to get my idea out anyway this is so cheesy haha
Bella barely made it to the Room of Requirement, her hand firmly pressed on her left shoulder. It wasn't bleeding but she was sure as hell that it's dislocated.
She winced when she tried to stand up straight – hissing through her teeth.
She was on Rookwood’s trials. It didn't make it better than some of the sentinels could go invisible, she managed to dodge the attacks — well, most of them except one. She's lucky that she didn't lose her whole arm, entirely.
Immediately, she sat down on the couches, gently pressing her back down. Her eyes went to the potion station, wondering if she had extra Wiggenweld.
Her thoughts were cut off by the walls turning, she saw a familiar flame of red hair walk in.
She forgot that she's a mess - forgot about her dislocated shoulder, the dirt on her cheeks, the bruises on her arms, her torn uniform — inevitably she heard a gasp and then suddenly he's on his knees, his palm on her cheek, his other hand on her knee.
“What happened to you?” She felt a pinch in her heart - her eyes refusing to meet his.
She felt Garreth's hands stilling their movements before it finally moved, his eyes roaming over her bruises. Over the hurt, hand trying to find where it hurts ‘till it landed on her shoulder making her whimper out in pain.
It was quiet. She could only hear Garreth heaving. He was seething and she knew that.
“I'm fine,” She cut him off.
“Bella. You're not fine. This isn't fine. None of this is alright.”
She bit her tongue, she didn't want to argue with him - she's too tired and frankly everything hurts. She moved away from his touch, too quickly that it made her wince and then his hands were back on her again.
“Garreth-” She finally looked at him, her dark-eyes meeting those poisoned green ones.
“This isn't normal.” He mumbled to her.
She didn't argue – she can never argue with him. She felt a vial on her lips and she just drank - the bitter taste of Wiggenweld made itself known on her tongue. She felt the pain numbing away, her eyes still on Garreth.
She saw Garreth place the empty vial on the table. Her shoulder gradually came back to its place while her other bruises closed up on its own. She felt relief when the stinging and the burn was gone.
“Well, no one else has Ancient Magic but me right? How are we going to stop Ranrok?” She quietly hummed.
Bella lets out a breathy laugh but when she looked at Garreth - he wasn't laughing. She felt her heart hammer in her chest, she couldn't believe what came out of his mouth.
“You heard me. Don't stop him.”
Her mouth was agape, eyes wide in shock and a scoff came out of her mouth.
“and let the Wizarding World burn down?”
“Yes.” She was taken back, she blinked a few times. She didn't know what to say, her hand came up to her mouth and before she could chew on her finger. Garreth took her hand on his.
“I don't care about the Wizarding World. I care about you.”
No words left her mouth. She just stared at him, his hand on top of hers. Her mind was blank, she could only look at the swirl of poison in his eyes. She didn't know if this was him talking — she didn't know if this was still her Garreth.
She felt Garreth's hand on the back of her head, he gently pressed his forehead against hers.
“I care about you, only you. And if saving this world means losing you then I'd rather it burn to the ground.”
“Hells, I’d burn it myself if I have to— you just need to tell me when.”
It wasn't a threat. It was a promise and he sealed it with a kiss on the back of her hand, he pressed his lips hard, making sure that it'll linger. That she'll remember.
