Every “racism is dead” Every “why does it have to be about race.” Every “love the sinner, hate the sin.” Every “biologically male and female.” Every “no fems, no fats, no asians or blacks.” Every “y'all females need to act right.” Every “they have a violent religion.”

We were right in feeling there was something wrong with that.

i cant even talk to my white friends about this because they know things are bad but i don’t think they understand just how truly terrified i am. i don’t think a lot of white people understand the implications that even if trump is elected and his policies or whatever are shot down, this only gives his supporters and other dangerous bigots a platform to openly hurt people like you and i.

yeah and a lot of them are taking this so lightly and just making jokes out of it, even the ones who are against trump are turning it into a joke and it’s really annoying but i know i shouldnt even focus on that

realistically i feel like it wont affect people to the point where racism is socially acceptable, but at the same time i feel like it’d make a lot of racist people come up from the woodworks or something and it wont be as looked down upon anymore

I’m upset for the hispanics whose families could be deported.

I’m upset for the muslims who could be blocked from entering the us or segregated like Jews were during the holocaust.

I’m upset for the LGBT+ community whose marriages could be voided, and whose young people might have to endure conversion therapy.

I’m upset for the women who could possibly be legally fired/turned down for a job, and who will have to deal with the sexism that the leader, the FACE, of our country obviously has.

I’m upset for anyone who isn’t a straight, white, male. They might have to deal with a president who could easily ruin their entire lives.
