Hi, I'm 25 and debating starting male-to-female HRT. However, I'm scared that HRT won't help me at all. It seems like HRT does so little after puberty, especially by the time one gets in their 20s. I'm really scared that I'll just end up being someone in a male body, but with breasts. Is there anything you can say to someone having this fear? Thank you, and sorry, I suspect this is a silly question.
Actually, the claim that HRT doesn’t do much after puberty is a myth. I started when I was 31 years old and now I’m 35. =)

Seriously, I transitioned at 39 and I’m 41 now. Hormones are magic whatever your age and while some things stay, many things change and it’s been totally worth it for me.

I felt the same way before I started transitioning and especially because I have a fair masculine build. But you know what I’ve learned from my experience so far? Fuck it! There is always hope and you could end up surprising yourself with the results.
I think results vary, I don’t see much difference between pre-hrt and 8 years on hrt

Time to add stuff up AGAIN
The previous post of the note expansion got 322 likes, 20 comments, and 91 reblogs…
That is equal to 615 cheeseburgers, or 307.5 pounds!
And then we ALSO gained a total of 15 Ko-Fis, bringing Brooke’s burger count up another 120 cheeseburgers! I cannot thank you guys enough, seriously lol
Now let’s do some more math…
Brooke, after part 4, has been fed another 735 cheeseburgers, and has gained another 367.5 pounds. Adding this to her previous weight (1,151 pounds), Brooke now weighs 1,518.5 pounds, and has eaten a total of 2,781 cheeseburgers! That’s almost 3,000 cheeseburgers, like… damn.
This may or may not be the final part of the note expansion, but I don’t know yet. I kinda wanna work on some personal projects now, but I’ll draw a sixth part if I feel up to it :p

Alright I’m honestly getting tired of this. Please fucking reblog and spread this around as much as you can. If you don’t, then you’re pretty much on the same end as the man that responded to my dear friend in the email, who is also a victim of sexual abuse. PATRICK SIZEMORE, the man that fucking raped me, punched me and then continued to punch me after yelling at him to stop many times, is an abusive, evil piece of shit. And my friends have done all that they can to get him fucking banned and spread awareness all over the media to prevent further harm and this is the fucking reply that one of them got, and it fucking furiates me cause it feels like a big fat FUCK YOU not only to her but to me and the ones that have been hurt by him. There’s been two cases for this piece of fucking shit already yet fetlife gives her a fucking time out for “outting” him. Boo fucking hoo. He’s a fucking rapist and physical+emotional abuser. Fuck you fetlife.
