Under the Knife [Challenge Open]
ZEUS could feel the minds of his hoard begin to thin, and followed the remnants of their signals to where they had fallen. How curious…a single human was cutting down his infected as though they were made of paper. But…no matter this person’s power, everything had a limit. While those that fell could not be used again, the mass that was left behind was reabsorbed by the waves that followed, causing each wave of the infected to grow stronger and stronger.
“…crush him.”
And the waves would continue with near endless force, swarming after the strange gardener relentlessly. They would not stop until they were all dead or they had accomplished their goal. This conquest had become a battle of stamina.
What bodies remained were perfectly bisected hunks of flesh. Nothing would get past Nanaya. Not here, not ever. But as he started to let out a sigh of relief, it was met with the roar of opposition. Rolling his eyes, he would tighten the grip on his knife. This group was stronger than the last. No matter how much they adapted, catching Nanaya was almost impossible for anything that could be seen by the human eye. As for himself, he simply vanished into thin air.
At this point, the monsters targeted him. Waves of fiends generated specifically for his existence. And so he would take the risk of abandoning his perfectly green sanctuary. With inhuman agility, he weaved through his foes and set out to find the source. As the hoards grew thicker, Nanaya pressed onward.
“Nothing like a run in the city to get the blood flowing!”
Words followed with several movements of his arm to clear his path once again. And in the rabble of it all, a single man stood among the monsters. But he was a monster himself. So many points of origin. It was as if he condensed the existences of so many beings, even beyond that of Nrvsqr.
“Hey! Whatever the hell you are, get your pets off my lawn!”
