The BYD Han Electric BEV / PHEV

Introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2019. The BYD Han is a mid to large luxury sedan, that started shipment and deliveries sometime in 2020.

This 4-door EV is available in two configurations; battery electric and plug-in hybrid. The battery electric vehicle (BEV), has a single speed automatic transmission. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model, is equipped with a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.

EV sales in 2020 were quite strong across all regions / countries, despite the global economic situation we were facing. 2021 has seen a definite increase in deliveries of EVs, at around 108%. Which is considered by some to be quite impressive.

Among the 108%, were the top selling battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Some of the manufacturer's present on that list, include but aren't limited to; Tesla at #1 (Model 3), Wuling at #2 (Mini EV) and Volkswagen at #4 (ID.4).

The XPeng G3 BEV For Sale

Manufactured by Xiaopeng Motors. The XPeng G3 is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV, which began production sometime in 2018. It is known as a battery electric vehicle. Which ranks in top quality among the BEV segment, according to the J.D. Power 2021 Study. As a new car manufacturer in China, the G3 is the first model to obtain this top rating.

With heavy inspiration from Tesla and their open source patents. The XPeng G3 is able to travel up to 520 km (323 mi) on a single charge (NEDC). Also, it is able go from 0 to 60 in approximately 8.4 seconds.

Announced at the 2019 Auto Shanghai show. The XPeng P7 is a compact luxury BEV, that is considered somewhat comparable to the Tesla Model S, in terms of performance. In terms of sales, the P7 actually outperformed the Model S in 2021, with approximately 60,569 vehicles delivered.

Currently available with 3 different battery configurations, the P7 is mostly rear-wheel drive. However does have a four-wheel drive (4WD) high performance option. Depending on the configuration or battery used. This 5 passenger EV has a range of up to approximately 706 km (439 mi) on a single charge (NEDC).

The Wuling HongGuang MINI BEV For Sale

The Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV, is considered one of the best selling electric vehicles next to the Tesla Model 3. In 2021 alone, it has shipped and delivered approximately 424,138 units.

This compact mini EV. Is a two door sedan with a single rear motor, that can produce up to 13 kW of power. An upgraded model which is set to release this year, is said to increase that capacity to approximately 30 kW (40 hp).

After their prototype made its first appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2019. The Volkswagen ID.4 crossover SUV. Has become quite popular among families and those looking for an electric vehicle alternative, to their current internal combustion engine SUV options.

Being the 4th best sold EV in 2021. The VW ID.4 is recognized for its overall performance. However, is said to need improvements to its internal display and cabin functionality. While not major concerns, the ID.4 is still a top competitor when it comes to BEV SUV specifications & sales / deliveries.

Depending on where you are located, the ID.4 is available in a few different variants. The Pure, Pro, Pro S, X & GTX. Each with their own variations in specifications and performance such as; battery type, range, charge time etc.
