IT IS COMPLETE!
After far too many hours, I finished crocheting my first feathered wing shawl! Pattern by Crafty Intentions.
This monster is over seven feet long. Lying flat, it takes up most of my couch space (or floor space in my office). On me—a 5'2"-tall human—it is more of a dramatic weighted blanket than a casual garment. It's exactly the project I've dreamed of making for years, and I'm so glad to have found such a skilled pattern designer to help bring that dream to life. I've already started making my next one—once you get the hang of it, the pattern is quite addictive. Let me know if you'd like to see further wing shawl endeavors.
Also, it's a fine corgi bed, I guess.
