name:  olivia ‘liv’ bednarski.status:  unknown,  last seen in charlottesville.connection:  childhood best friend,  acquaintance.

when  it  comes  to  making  friends,   glenn’s  never  been  the  best  at  it.   he’s  shy  and  quiet,   usually  sticking  by  his  mother  or  older  sister  grace’s  side.   so  when  he  first  started  school,   he  was  all  alone.   everyone  seemed  to  have  a  friend  group  they  could  slip  into,   but  glenn  struggled  and  usually  went  by  unnoticed.   which  he  was  fine  with,   it  meant  he  could  keep  to  himself  and  focus  on  playing  /  working.   that  was  until  liv  came  in  halfway  through  the  school  year,   she  was  assigned  the  seat  right  beside  glenn  and  the  pair  quickly  became  fast  friends.   she  was  the  total  opposite  of  glenn,   she  was  loud  and  outspoken,   always  wanting  to  go  on  crazy  adventures  or  do  things  that  were  way  out  of  glenn’s  comfort  zone.   they  were  practically  inseparable,   would  always  spend  their  weekends  together  or  talk  on  walkie-talkies.   (   since  their  houses  were  across   the  street  from  each  other  and  in  perfect  range.   glenn  got  them  for  christmas  one  year  and  as  soon  as  he  was  able  to  he  was  at  olivia’s  and  gifting  the  other  one  to  her.   )   everything  was  going great,   right  up  until  they  started  middle  school.   then   everything  changed.   olivia  joined  the  popular  crowd  and  glenn  didn’t  fit  in.   she  would  say  hi  whenever  seeing  him  in  the  halls  or  across  the  street,   but  glenn’s  best  friend  quickly  became  an  acquaintance.   olivia  and  her  family  moved  away  just  before  sophmore  year  and  glenn  never  did  get  to  say  goodbye   —   or  find  out  why  she  left.   there  were  rumors  going  round,   but  glenn  didn’t  want  to  listen  to  them.   ultimately  the  reason  olivia  and  her  family  left  was  because  she  fell  pregnant—   something  glenn  had  heard  as  a  rumor,   but  didn’t  want  to  believe.

olivia  gave  birth  to  a  son,   one  her  parents  later  adopted  and  raised  as  their  own.   olivia  would  also  go  on  to  become  a  medical  examiner  /  coroner  for  the  charlottesville  police.

𝟷.    𝚁𝙴:  𝙼𝙰𝙸𝙽 𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙴.

this blog is heavily canon divergent, glenn surviving the hit from lucille. he’s struck once instead of multiple times and is quickly taken to the hilltop as soon as negan has left. he spends the remainder of his time  ( before the time jump )  recovering at hilltop. @servivals and i have also established our own canon,  (  since i am exclusive with her maggie )  one that results in maggie and glenn killing negan. after the events in 9x05 glenn and maggie both travel to alexandria, and it ends with them killing negan before leaving alexandria to go back home.

𝟸.  𝙻𝚄𝙲𝙸𝙻𝙻𝙴  &  𝙸𝙽𝙹𝚄𝚁𝙸𝙴𝚂.

shortly after abraham’s death, the taunting and daryl’s outburst, glenn is struck by lucille,  (but only once. )  leaving him to pass out and hang on for his life. after negan and the saviors leave is when glenn is taken to the hilltop. this is where glenn spends the remainder of his time while recovering. being lucilled left him with a great ordeal of injuries. he lost his left eye; some deformation and scaring covering the left side of his face,  ( which he usually covers with a bandager / his hair. )  the incident also caused short term memory, never lasting too long and only ever for a few seconds.  ( usually forgetting where he is, what’s going on, etc. )  as well as migraines, anger outbursts ( the worst he’ll do is yell or hurt himself. ) and his depression resurfacing.  ( along with the tons of ptsd he already has. ) he also developed a speech impediment, constant stuttering/stammering.

𝟹.  𝙽𝙴𝙶𝙰𝙽.

taking out the saviors was the first time glenn had ever killed a living, breathing human being. he’d gone this long without ever harming someone else, because he didn’t have it in him to do such a thing. he did this for maggie, for their son and the lives and well-beings of all the other communities suffering at the hands of negan. shortly after he has to watch his sick wife looking like she’s on the verge of passing out while some ‘big man’ taunts them, soon murdering abe with lucille. he has to watch a friend ( another friend ) be taken by death, it’s horrific. then this man takes more from glenn, he almost takes his life, leaving him with permanent damage and scarring.  glenn wants negan dead.  there’s never been anyone  ( aside from the governor )  where glenn has found himself willingly wanting to take another human beings life. it is something that’s conflicting to glenn, because although he wants negan to be locked away and suffer for the rest of his life, he also doesn’t believe negan deserves to live on the same earth where glenn’s going to raise his own son.

❝   throw  a  party  ?   ❞      he  looks  at  her  as  though  she’s  gone  insane,    that  she  should  know  exactly  what  to  do  with  party  supplies  when  the  world  had  come  to  an  end.      ❝   you  know  .  .  .   ❞      he  starts,    slowly  moving  round  her  in  a  circle  as  he  plucks  one  of  the  streamers  from  its  hold.      ❝   we  never  did  have  a  proper  reception  for  our  wedding.   ❞
