Just to make a point, every time I finished a panel of this I would export it as a PNG on the perceptual setting and use it as a color reference for the next panel

PLEASE CHECK YOUR COLOR SETTINGS

EDIT: If you're still having problems, it might help to switch from "Save/Save as" to "Export (as a) Single Layer". Just. Make SURE the box labeled "Expression Color" is set to RGB. I've been messing with this all day, and it looks like this combination of settings will allow exported PNGs to maintain their colors perfectly. To you. So far both Discord and Toyhouse still only display desaturated images and I cannot for the life of me figure out why

ive been noticing the EXACT SAME PROBLEM whenever i would export an image from procreate and it drove me CRAZY that my art would desaturate all the time. anyway, if you're in a canvas, go to settings > canvas > canvas information > color profile

once youre in color profile, if your current color profile is display P3, CHANGE IT!!!!!! it is desaturating your colors. you're gonna want to change it to sRGB IEC6 1966-2.1 instead

if you're starting a new canvas, you can just go to color profile and change it that way. im SO grateful for this post for giving me the push i needed to experiment with procreate files and finally see what was changing my art to be so desaturated

anyway yeah. tldr if youre using procreate, make sure your color profile is sRBG IEC6 1966-2.1

There is something delightfully healing about joining an oc group full of adults my own age range and literally everyone has an oc that would be considered 'cringe' or 'edgy' back when we were teenagers, and everyone is complimenting each other's designs. Nature is healing.

I'm fine, by the way. Seems my posts last night caused some concern. I'm dealing with a lot irl and my worries are getting pretty bad, but I'm going to survive for now.

I'm going to try and be more active on here anyway. Post more in general, post my art, maybe talk about my project ideas and plans. The reason I don't post much is because I assume no one on here who doesn't talk to me regularly really cares (not in a woe-is-me way, just in a small following way) but if that's the case, then why not just post whatever?

It's strange, honestly, how the words of people who barely know you can have some of the greatest impact. There's something about an insightful word from an acquaintance that just hits different. Kind words from close friends and loved ones also matter deeply, of course, but there's something about when someone with more degrees of separation says something that just hits.

this messed up vintage cat sewing pattern has tormented me since i saw it & like some other folks have done in that post - i tried my hand at tweaking the pattern to resemble the illustration (and my personal tastes) a little more. i've ended up with this, which i have only tested at a small scale and not this final version exactly (where i have done such things as further widening the cheeks and finalizing the leg shapes.) i bestow it upon you nice folks now 👐

My first attempt! I made the pattern a bit smaller as I wanted it to be able to fit in a pocket, but then (accidentally but perhaps unavoidably) sewed it with a wider seam allowance than the resized pattern indicated, so the face is proportionally a bit too big and I lost some detail in the ear shape. I'm pleased with it though! It was fun to make something and to do some handsewing.

my flat examples are the two in the top left, and the rest are all rendered. Bust would cover shoulders and up, half-body would be around the hips or waist and up, and full body is the full body.

If the character is highly complicated, I will charge extra depending on just how complicated.

politely reminding you to reclaim parts of you that are still attached to people you don't vibe with anymore by doing those things with new people or buying things that aren't linked to them or finding new things that have no connection to them. every time you take back a bit of your old life through mixing it with your new one, you reclaim it as yours. every time you find a new hobby, artist, song, routine, etc you become further disconnected from that past life. reclamation will guide you into your new self.

His first reaction was just chill acceptance. Barely anything.

His second reaction was to text me a dad joke about it.

His third reaction was to invite me to a drag show.
