Just want to say I've been a huge fan of your work for well over a decade now (since you went by ChocolateSoul actually) and you've been a HUGE art inspiration for me and how my art style developed. I still see your influence in the way I draw even today. I've always loved the way you use color and how you don't shy away from vibrancy and texture and you art always has such a unique look to it that I can always pick out immediately and know that you made it. I think everyone has the ability to draw but I also think sometimes certain people have something very special with the art they create and I think you are one of those people. I'm not sure anyone else could fully capture your unique style. It's truly one of a kind. I always look forward to seeing what you create. That being said, do not feel bad for taking longer to make things or for having to take breaks. Do not hurt yourself for your art. As someone with carpal tunnel that has impacted my ability to draw consistently, I fully understand and it SUCKS. It sucks so much to want to create but also being physically unable to do it as much as you'd like. Please do not feel pressure to push yourself for other people. We will wait as long as it takes because there's not another you. Anything you make will be worth the wait.

I’m Hershel (ze/hir or it/its) and I’m a queer trans (anti-zionist) jew who draws supernatural drama comics about trans people having weird interpersonal conflicts and then on top of that, The Curse. Currently I’m in my werewolf zone and making two comics: Paper Shells, a comic about a trans woman trying to get tenure while her relationship falls apart and she also has to deal with werewolves, and More Than You Can Chew, the first in a series about a special little failguy who has to be werewolf president.
