Backstory: Ruby was born and raised in Red Lagoon with her parents. Her mentor was Rouge; she taught her how to be a spy, thief, and assassin. Ruby never wanted to hurt anyone except when it was self defense, but Rouge would force her to do so. After Diego killed his parents, Ruby and the Sea Krait trolls traveled the open ocean until Diego found them and Ruby became a night guard. She eventually became friends with Luka after being scared to approach him for a few days. After Rouge came back, she avoided her. 3 months later, Ruby was chosen to be an ambassador of Trollstopia representing Red Lagoon.
