A Plus Size Kid’s Guide To; Onesies Downunder’s Tu-Sies and Bibs!

I’ve been all about the Tu-sies since I saw @onesiesdownunder tease about them on Instagram. They’re cute, fun, frilly, girly and flirty all in one adorable package. They fit just like Onesies Downunder’s onesies so there’s no change in size there. One thing I was slightly worried about was them being too tight in the waist but that isn’t an issue. In fact, I find them to be incredibly flattering; they really enhance my shape which makes me love them even more.

The Tu-sies have four metal snaps in the crotch and are very sturdy and are made of a 95% cotton, 5 % spandex blend. They also have a single button in the back to secure the collar, which is easy to undo and fasten yourself. The tulle of the tutu is securely attached to the waist of the Tu-sie and comes down to about crotch length, which makes pairing either with a pair of tights a super cute combo!

Both Tu-sies have attached collars that add a sense of playfulness to the garment. The Sweethearts Tu-sie’s collar is fun and ruffly while the Dreamy Tu-sie’s collar is more of a Peter Pan style, which makes it extra adorable. Both Tu-sies have matching bibs and paci clips that are available to pair with it to make the outfit complete.

Their new bibs were a concern of mine at first, I’m not going to lie. When first introduced, Onesies Downunder’s website said they fit up to a size 16 inch neck whereas my neck is much larger than that. So I was genuinely afraid that it would not fit and I wouldn’t be able to give you all accurate feedback. The good news is that they fit my neck and comfortably! Now, if you remember Onesies Downunder’s old bibs, these are nothing like them! Onesies Downunder up’d their game with these bibs! They’re waterproof and are secured by velcro instead of the tie-back strings that their bibs had when they first came out. Plus now you can protect your favorite onesie or tu-sie with a matching bib; it’s a win-win situation!
