Sandals Overwater Bungalow Suites NOW Available For Booking!
The highly anticipated Overwater Bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean are now ready to book!
A few months back we were lucky enough to spend a week relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica for our 5th wedding anniversary. While there, we chatted with Mr. Gerald Christ the General Manager, who invited us into his office to show us the brand new design plans for the soon-to-be-built overwater bungalows. Here is what we’ve learned since then. A little preview of these amazing suites to “soon come”:
Where Will The Sandals Overwater Bungalows Be Located?
The location has been debated by many for months as Sandals has announced they’d be breaking ground to being building. But Mr. Christ confirmed to us that the bungalows would be built on the quiet side of the island, where the current “clothing optional” section is located. Red arrow points to where the bungalows will be built off of Sandals Cay.
What Will The Sandals Overwater Bungalows Look Like?
The overall layout will include 5 bungalows plus a 24 hour Club Sandals lounge so that guests are not “alone on the island” all night. Each bungalow will have everything from private floating decks, to infinity pools, as well as over-water hammocks and interiors that will rival some of the best suites Sandals has to offer. The design underwent some last-minute changes due to the trade winds that hit the island, but all is well to move forward now.
The interior is expected to be decked with:
*Modern state-of-the art accommodations
*1600 Square feet of space with maximum privacy
*Glass flooring in the living room, allowing you to see the marine life below (lights will illuminate the water under the bungalow at night).
*Indoor soaking tub with beautiful ocean views
When Will The Sandals Overwater Bungalows Be Ready?
Good news! Work has already begun. A dredge barge was brought in to break ground on November 1st and the bungalows are scheduled to be ready for guests by November 15th 2016.
How Much Will These Suites Cost?
The prices are subject to change depending on length of stay, travel dates, time of year, etc. It’s best to contact us for a price quote to be certain of the true cost. All price quotes include the suite, all meals, drinks, transfers, gratuities, etc. The pricing also includes any current Sandals discounts which are always subject to change. The suites will come with Club Level and personal Butler service as well.
The best part is, you can book the room with only $400 down. That will hold the room and dates you’d like until final payment is due 45 days prior to check in. Payments can be made toward the balance at any time.
