I've been quite busy with uni stuff recently and I don't have much time for drawing, so there are some wips I hope to finish after I'm done with my exams🫠

Sooo I have been having How to Train Your Dragon AU brainrot with Ratchet and Stormy because IDK the whole "kid who doesn't fit in rehabilitates and trains a dragon by earning its trust and building it a disability aid" Just fits those two very well.

Though I imagine Stormy's main goal is to help Ratchet get back to his family/pack because his injury keeps him from flying to find them, and they haven't found him yet.

Thanks to @kirsanoff for the lovely Predacon AU design. I made it look more organic for the sake of my own AU, but gosh it was such a wonderful jumping-off point!!

Literally that, I haven't drawn anything from TFP for a long time (thanks to the fact that I'm specifically hyperfixed on ROTB) and well, I wanted to go back to this a bit:P

1. I tried again to draw Ratty with Synthetic Energon, I'm not 100% happy but I like the color palette, it's weird for me AJJD

2. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to draw something GB!Optiratch for MONTHS but I had never done it. Now I have a doodle that I want to finish because I listened Luna-Zoé and IT'S THEIR SONG😭😭—it's Post-Movie and I guess something based on RID :P

I'm slowly getting out of the art block I've had for the last month. I have a lot of sketches and wips that I hope to finish soon.

if we’re still doing the shipping game what about platonic/found family ships? the most prominent one i see on your blog is bee being the baby which i absolutely agree on. tho it’s more based on tfp yeah?

Oh, that’s actually an interesting question :D. I love the found family trope and I think the whole tfp Team Prime is a great example of it. Even Optimus himself calls his team a family, it’s absolutely adorable. For me it includes humans too, both children and Fowler with June, I love all the sillies. Speaking of platonic ships, I think that Ratchet and June would actually make good friends, they have similar experiences and honestly, they have matching vibes.

And yes, tfp Bumblebee being the child of the team is one of my favourite things to draw. Optimus and Ratchet being his parents is something that I’ll never get tired of drawing. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it before, but in my humanformers AU Ratchet is Bumblebee’s biological father. Ratchet had been raising him alone until he met Orion when Bee was around 7 years old (in human years). Orion and later on Optimus becomes Bumblebee’s stepfather so their bond is also as strong. Ratchet and Bumblebee’s story may vary in different AUs, but it’s always important to me to represent their relationship in a “parent and child” way.

your predacon(?) au is giving me so many ideas that my head is gonna pop 😭😭 like ratchet trying to court op without having any idea what he’s doing, he probably makes a borderline fool of himself but optimus just finds it endearing

and oh little bee, he reminds me of one of my ocs who’s a mute dragon bot, he taught himself how to make sounds using the gears and stuff in his neck, makes me want to draw them together so badly, the designs are a bit intimidating though
