I bought two new washi tapes today; a really cute space one with all the planets and then a strawberry vines one. I’m just getting started with my bujo, trying to get a hang of the layouts and daily spreads but I think i’m starting to get used to it. Might change the daily spread layout next week.

April is here!!!! my favorite warmer-weather month!! here is my April task list, April calendar, and my first week of April! I haven’t ever done a full page calendar like this but decided to try it out, inspired by @studytildawn and my weekly spread is all fit onto two pages which is a first!! I’m trying to condense my journal a bit, until now I have been making a homework spread for each week but I decided to take that out and buy a mini (!!!) notebook for homework! I’ll post updates about that too!!

13•04 | finally posting something after being a little mia from this. so hey, its officially week 4 of uni and today was such a long day. my lecture consisted of my lecturer explaining how to submit our portfolio i gotta admit today wasnt so bad on the way home i manage to be on the same carriage as my boyfriend and seeing him always makes my days a lot better especially during a time like this where everything is so all over the place with uni.

Imagine a villain getting injured and losing their memory and the heroes finding them and taking them with them and taking care of them and the villain gets their memory back after like a week but doesn’t want to say anything because the heroes are being so nice to them and nobody has been that nice to them in so long and they don’t want it to end and they’re maybe getting fond of the heroes but don’t tell anyone shhh. But eventually something happens and the heroes are in trouble and they’re trying to get the villain to run away because they still think they’re an amnesiac with no idea how to defend themself and they’ve grown to like them and don’t want them to get hurt but the villain just pushes past them toward whatever is trying to hurt the heroes and just fuckin goes guns blazing and destroys them
So, I've been into Spider-man since I was little and I'm genuinely interested in reading the comics, but I'm not sure where to start out, because it confuses me a bit and I don't feel like picking something out willy-nilly and just not understanding what I'm reading.

So, a lot has happened since I last answered something about Spidey, therefore I’m gonna answer this directly with updated info.
Caution: lots of confusing talk about multiple comic book universes ahead!
Unfortunately it’s a bit tricky to jump into the life of 616 Peter Parker right now. His current title is the relauched Amazing Spider-Man (2014) but they’ve yet to move on to new easily approachable stories and are instead still cleaning up the mess left behind from Superior Spider-Man, the series that leads into the relaunch where Peter Parker was temporarily dead.
You’d have to be very dedicated and passionate and focused to want to dive into Peter’s early beginnings in the 616 universe.
Instead I’d push you towards the ultimate universe where Peter Parker starred in Ultimate Spider-Man (2000). It is a complete series and goes from origin to demise, which is very satisfying. (Sorry for the spoiler, but it’s been five years, bro.) It’s 200 issues but it’s a very catchy and easy read. I’ve had friends read it’s entirety in 2-4 weeks.
Then you could always try out Miles Morales’ story in the ultimate universe, Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man. It takes place directly after Ultimate Spider-Man. It’s 28 issues and then continues into the teenager/young adult team up series All-New Ultimates which is currently on it’s 4th issue.If you’re looking to stay with Peter Parker there is a short 616 title I really loved called Avenging Spider-Man. It’s super light and funny. It was sort of this day in the life of Spidey the Avenger structure and had a lot of guest writers/artists. What was really cool was it rotated on who Spidey was working with that week so each issue focuses on a different silly team up. It was only 24 issues, cut short by the events of Superior Spider-Man. I’m still very bitter, but enjoy what we got out of it while it lasted!
There are lots of different Spideys. Peter had a daughter in the MC2 universe who became Spider-Girl. It was one of the longest running female lead comics in history. That’s not bad. And both Peter Parker and Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) were part of The New Avengers (2005) team. If you’re looking for less goody-two-shoes Spideys there are the SpideyJerks: Ben and Kaine in Scarlet Spider, Flash in Venom (2011), and Cletus in Carnage. We really could just go on and on and on.

So, guys, probably more reliable than Google Translate is in many cases there’s Linguee.
Linguee is a sort of dictionary filled with examples and sentences from all over the internet so you can look up individual phrases or words and see how they’re used and in what contexts.
So if you want to type in an actual phrase or something in English or Spanish (or a different language if you pick it) you can see your words used in sentences and see how actual sentences look… rather than relying on Google Translate to mess up the grammar or false cognates.
And more than that, you can also check the sources they take the example sentences from.
I highly recommend Linguee for people who are trying to figure out specific phrases rather than particular words (which I would use WordReference for).

How to recover an unsaved draft on Microsoft Word
This literally saved my ass a few minutes ago. Yes, you can recover those files that you accidentally closed and thought you couldnt get back.
Right after that happens, open Microsoft Word again and click File - Info - Manage Versions - Recover Unsaved Documents.
It is literally that simple.
