but fr i just kept thinking about the almost-allusion to the orpheus and eurydice myth and how the almost-allusion kept falling apart as the season progressed. mark s can't be orpheus, he could never look back out of love no matter how much he wanted to!! gemma is kicking and screaming to claw her way out!! billie holiday's 'i'll be seeing you' is their theme but the only way they see each other is if they're looking back!!
