Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) is playing the part as the Christmas Elf in the mall when the father approaches him. The Father wants him to help find his son and save him from the kidnappers. Once they meet at the hideout, Nightcrawler brought the X-Men as a back-up to help the father while he finds the child in the room.
