The Important Task Of Checking My Mail

Hi there people🙋🏻

you must know I just stopped my super important task of checking my email every single minute to get you up to date (it's a great honor, you shall know 😃.) 'Why's she checking her emails every minute?', you might wonder. Well, I'm happy to announce that I'm finally in the matching pool! 😂 that means host families can now reach out to me. Which they did. I already talked to three families on Skype who all were really nice. So, let's see how it goes 🙃

I finished my application. I repeat, I FINISHED MY APPLICATION. Such a relief! Soon after I had my interview too. It went pretty well :-) So now I’m waiting for the organisation to check my application and unlock me afterwards so that I can actively look for host families :)

I am currently working on my application. It’s definitely more complicated than my high school year application, mostly because I did not have to do an application video back then. So I now spend my time brain storming creative ideas to convince my future host family so they’ll chose me as their Au Pair :D

Once upon a time there was a girl that once again wanted to go on an adventure

For those of you who know me - I can literally see some of you rolling their eyes! But you got it right. The fever got me again. I am infected with the everlasting virus that can be beautifully described with one single German word: Wanderlust . More than one year has passed since my last big adventure - 10 months in the Land of the Free. The thing is, once you start traveling and exploring the world you can’t stop. Plus, those chances to explore new countries and cultures are only given to us as long as we are young. So tell me, when will there ever be a more perfect time to travel than now? So yes, my fellow friends, I’m packing my bags again. My destination this time? The land of Kiwis and Hobbits, the land under down under, the amazing New Zealand.
