This is a rant about the webtoon comment section. It's toxic as fuck. "Oh, she's so pretty with make up in this chapter! Edit: I didn't mean she's not pretty without makeup Edit: I'm sorry I'm disappointing everyone here Edit: she's pretty without make up too" That's just one example, where someone liked the look of make up on a *fictional, drawn character*. What the fuck. The author decided to draw her in a pretty way with make up. And it's not making you a better person to "prefer her without make up". And it's CERTAINLY not making you a better person to be passive aggressive towards the person liking the look of the make up. Like I said, this is just one of way too many examples. In every webtoon where there's some antagonist, some people will be like "oh what a bitch" when they did some bitch move, and then everyone will freak out how the antagonist may have their reasons and problems too and stuff (especially if they already read more on an illegal website, thus knowing the antagonist has their reasons)... And I keep seeing people wording out their comments in a scared way, trying to make sure no one can attack them in any way. For example "ah I love Character X. But oh I will be fine if she'll decide to go out with character Y because I just want her to be happy edit: I want the others to be happy too, I want everyone to be happy" People. Stop this toxic shit. It's fictional. You can playfully call them bitch and asshole if they do something evil. And you can like them later when they reveal their own story. And you can ship your fav characters without caring for the other ships. This is meant to be fun and you're not hurting fictional characters. And if they'd be happy from the beginning on, guess what, then there's no story. Needed to get this off my chest. I'm trying not to read the comments anymore, but it's hard not to.
