"woman of many talents," sarcasm riddling in his dry delivery. blowing a heavy sigh, yeonjun's eyes remained on the half empty glass in attempts to cool the bubbling anger that always haunted him. the hard question coming from sakura brought a smirk on his face. mostly finding it amusing how direct she was. the smirk stayed but he could feel the question tingling down as he tried to swallow the reasonings for his outburst. "i'm..-" the facade slowly slipped. "i don't know, i think it's all of the years spent hating the world that's made me this angry." he admitted with a gulp of water. "the past haunts me just like it does with soobin, but guess i react differently than he does." he clears his throat when the discomfort began.

「 . ♡. * . ˚ 」  ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ → sakura watched slightly confused at his constant smirk. she couldn't tell if he was genuinely amused by her questions or if he was just humouring her because she was practically dating his leader. at the mention of the other man, a small smile graced her lips and she let out a soft sigh. "you know, i understand that not everyone can handle there various traumas and tragedies as...um...'well' as soobie does but-" she paused reframing her words a bit and letting out a deep breath. "i don't think you should compare yourself to him. it's okay to handle things in your own way, i just wonder if...it's not the most healthy, right?" she furrowed her brows and shook her head. "i mean- i don't mean to sound overprotective or something. you definitely don't need me to do that or to be worried about you, i guess, but...junie, i know you're not a bad guy so it kind of bothers me to see you this way,"

he felt a weight fall from his shoulders as it always did with sakura. he couldn't put it into words but being around her felt like a breath of fresh air. like he had gone this entire time without breathing until now. "i don't mind being silly with you," he admitted with a dimpled smile. an immediate warmth greeted his whole existence. his hand released from hers to loop his arms around her waist. their kissing was nothing new but each time he could feel a fluttering occur in his chest. his lips greeted hers like a magnet. slow pecking before sealing this entire conversation by briefly deepening their kiss. part of his new journey of being a man of his word, soobin mumbled. "will you be my girlfriend?" no more assuming, he thought. his lips providing another light peck.

sakura felt the familiar sensation of butterflies that always lent themselves to soobin's touch. as he leaned in and deepened their kiss, her body pressed against his and she found herself clinging to him forgetting everything around them but this moment. at his question, she's almost breathless but she manages to utter out a small yes and nod before her lips meet his again. she gives him a few more kisses, her fingers brushing against the hair at the nape of his neck and she spoke softly. "does this mean i get to kiss you all the time now? well- you know...within reason," she said rolling her eyes a bit as she kept in mind that they didn't have the same freedoms as other people.

"sorry, i'll announce when i'm in the room next time." he said in a sarcastic tone. "ah, very funny." a part of him might have laughed had he not felt so miserable. he made a mental note to take a pill before falling asleep so he wouldn't feel the damage from the alcohol or the punches he received. "what's up?" his eyes locked with the glass of water. he debated about rejecting the refreshment just then had it not been for yuna's voice suddenly sounding off in his head. he blew some air before he took the glass and took an obedient gulp.

「 . ♡. * . ˚ 」  ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ → "some say i'm a comedian before an idol," she joked with a flip of her hair before her expression softened into a firm look of concern. she watched as he drank the glass of water, her brows furrowing to see if he would drink enough to counteract that nasty hangover he might have tomorrow. she didn't focus too hard, though, she had more pressing questions at hand. "well, not to be rude or invasive or anything but why does it seem like you're so...miserable?" she asked tilting her head. "i mean- it's coachella weekend, right? and all i can think about is how much criticism we're probably going to get and what people will have to say. you're just here on vacation and you look the way the inside of my brain feels," she leaned in to whisper the last part. "like a disaster."

"be- because i thought you wouldn't like me that way." every part of sakura was perfect in his eyes. from her confident personality to the comfort her felt in her presence. how could he not fall in love with her? sleeping together began as a way to destress from the pressure of their career and a way to get soobin out of his head. however, each time he left her place, his mood got slightly sulkier. it took him a while to realize that those emotions were because he missed her. he wanted to prolong each kiss or touch he had with hers. deeply afraid that she would one day wake up and realize she was over it and wanted to move onto a serious relationship. it was why he grew worried when he read the group messages earlier. worried that his time with sakura was finished.

the pout now transforming into a smile now that his chest didn't feel like it was going to explode. "i feel a little silly too" he admitted when his dimples now appeared from the relief he was feeling. "i love you. i should have told you a long time ago... i should have communicated better. i'll do much better." he squeezed her hand, leaning his face into her warm hand. "does this mean that i can kiss you?"

kkura's brows furrowed and a look of confusion crossed her face. she didn't understand how soobin could think that she wouldn't like him. in the midst of all of the criticism her group had faced and her taking on her job as the oldest to let the opinions of the public fall on her instead of her members, he had always been her peace. he was like a beacon of light in the darkness she often felt about being an idol. whenever she felt alone at times, he was always there. she didn't understand how he could think anything else, but then again, she'd thought her feelings were one-sided, too. a smile crept onto her face as he agreed about their silliness and she shook her head. "we're both silly then," she admitted softly. the smile spread into a grin as he told her he loved her and the speeding of her heart rate only got faster. instead of answering his question, she leaned in, eyes closing as her lips met his and her arms settled around his neck pulling him closer into their kiss.

a dip in his chest when he heard what could only be described as his worst nightmare. was all of it pure friendship on her side? soobin's lips curled down into a pout. "oh...-" he desperately wanted to curl into a ball to avoid any possible embarrassment to assume that a great girl like her would consider him romantically. "i like you... like you." he pushed through. better to communicate instead of pretending that everything was okay. she was his best friend. the person he's supposed to be completely honest with. "i've had feelings for a while." he rubbed off whatever clamminess his other palm felt on his pants. "i didn't want to ruin us or scare you away. kkura, you're one of my best friends. you make me feel complete. when i...- when i'm with you, i feel safe and i feel alive." his feelings rolled together that he took a deep breath. "do you... feel the same?"

kkura was a little surprised when she saw the slight disappointment on his face. in her mind, sleeping with soobin was something just to relieve his stress, at least, that was how she thought he saw it. sure, she'd been developing feelings for him ever since it started, the safety and the way he made her feel special didn't help but she was sure that he was just being nice and there was no way that he could like her. at least, not like that. when he clarified what he meant, she winced slightly feeling her heart rate rise in her chest. she was almost sure she misheard him until he went on. i've have feelings for a while. her ears grew hot hearing those words and that flush only expanded to her cheeks as her hand involuntarily squeezed his. "soobie..." she whispered softly in the midst of his words and her sense of urgency only increased as he voiced the very things she'd been thinking.

"soobie," she huffed out softly putting the flowers down on the seat next to her and cupping his cheeks so he'd look at her directly. "why do you seem so nervous to tell me this?" she said shaking her head as she tried to make sense of it all. "i thought that us sleeping together was just- well, i thought that...soobin, i like you, too. well-" she paused shaking her head. "that's not true, actually. i love you, but i didn't want- i thought if i told you then you might get distant because i thought it was one-sided and- i feel really silly now," her words rushed out all once and it was easy to tell she was breathless as she searched his face for a reaction.

soobin felt relief that he had the flowers as a short distraction. clinging onto them when he gave a mid waddle to meet her halfway, freeing his other hand to take the one she offered. a polite bow went towards their friends as they exited the room, and went outside. most were hanging out indoors to much his relief. "these are for you," realizing he never handed her the bouquet. his nerves shooting in his chest when they walked to the vacant cabana. once sat, he offered her hand a small squeeze. "are we okay?" nervous that he was starting off that way. "i thoug..-" channeling whatever inner peace he had, he used the rest. "i like you. a lot. i'll be better with showing it. i just..- i didn't want to scare you off."

"oh? really? thank you! they're beautiful!" she smiled setting down her drink once they reached the empty cabana and taking the flowers. she smelled them, a soft smirk on her face as she whispered. "you always bring me nice things," she noticed quietly. a look of trouble rested on her face, though, once he as if they were okay. "yes. i mean- earlier when i said that i..." her voice trailed off. she wasn't exactly sure how to explain what she'd meant but when he continued, her eyes widened slightly. "i like you, too! soobie, you're one of my best friends, of course i like you," it took a moment for his words to click properly before she mumbled a quiet, "oh- do you mean...you like me? like...romantically?" she said, a glimmer of hope in her voice. admittedly, she was sure before now that her feelings for him were one-sided, and more than that, silly since of course, he was the type who could have anyone he wanted so why would that be her?

no time wasted once the message flashed on soobin's phone. a cold flashed through his body as he felt the blood leaving from his face. he fumbled once he stood from the bed and on his way towards the door. accidental slip and bump on the door frame when he rushed towards jackson's room. "thanks hyung!" taking the flowers and making a mental note to pay him money and repay him with a favor a different day as he ran towards the kitchen where the girls said they would be. "kkura?" shy that he was interrupting the fun. his posture trying to look confident.

sakura found herself accepting a drink from yuna faster than she could actually request one which made for a good thing considering that she knew that she was going to have to have a possibly difficult conversation with soobin shortly. when he finally entered the kitchen, the familiar voice calling her name made her cheeks flush and she bid her friends goodbye for a moment walking over to him. she held her hand out to him, offering it. "let's talk?" she said softly, doing her best to not show whatever nerves were turning her insides out on her face.

「 . ♡. * . ˚ 」  ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ ׅ → kkura watched as everyone began taking shots around her. it took her a little while but as soon as she found an opportunity she snuck away to find a glass of water and something to eat. she didn't want to get as wasted as she had the night before since it seemed to be a recipe for disaster. she, also, wanted to see if she could find yeonjun after the earlier incident. she closed the door quietly behind her, almost jumping when she saw the tall figure in the room with her. "geez, you really scared me, you know? i was about to start throwing elbows but i think you've had enough of that today," she said to him as she poured herself a glass of water pausing before offering it to him, instead. "can we talk about something?"

trust was important to soobin. it played into the comfort he had in the other person, and sakura had been one person he could trust wholeheartedly. his smile and soft chuckle came from her smack, and he kissed the side of her lips to smoothen things over. while this wasn’t their first time or second, soobin still enjoyed exploring parts of her body. his lips welcomed hers with passion, moving their lips as a perfect team. he let in a sharp inhale, offering a low growl in between their kiss, “i love it when you say my name.” he confessed without worry. his hand cupped her breast, then began to unbutton his bottoms just as his body began to heat. with a messy side kick, soobin’s pants clinked as they met the ground. taking his time, he kept his lips on hers while his hand slowly slipped under pajama bottoms. his fingers moving towards her inner thighs, slowly trailing his fingertips closer to her middle.

sakura's hands rested on her shoulders as he kissed her. it only takes a moment before her arms are resting over them urging him closer. as much as she'd be shy to admit it if pressed, the way he growls only turns her on even more. her lips part as his hand cups her breast drawing a soft moan from her as her cheeks deepen in color. no matter how many times they slept together, he still had the ability to make her shy. a soft groan leaves against his lips as his fingers near her core. she placed a hand on his cheek deepening the kiss as he made his way closer. her thighs parted slightly to give him an easier path to touching her as she made herself comfortable under him.

After the disbanding of their group, Wonyoung noticed a significant shift — she found herself rarely spending time with many of the girls she had once been close to. While she understood that it was primarily due to scheduling conflicts, she couldn't shake the feeling of longing to change that, especially when it came to Sakura. With an eager nod, she replied with enthusiasm, a spark of excitement in her eyes. "I mean... have you seen how viral it went?" As the older woman spoke, the brunette couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for her, knowing all too well the sacrifices idols often had to make, especially during comeback preparations. She reached out to gently squeeze Sakura's hand in a silent gesture of understanding and support. Having her family reside in Seoul was a stroke of luck for Wonyoung, making it much easier for her to spend time with them. "They're doing great, thank you for asking. But that sounds lovely. Is your mom planning to visit you soon?" she inquired, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

She knew that Wony knew better than anyone the sacrifices that they'd both made so young to follow their dreams. She was one of the few other idols who could understand what it meant to put your dreams before even your education and your childhood. Maybe that was one of the reasons that Kkura had felt so attached to her even when they were in the same group. "I think I will visit my mom when we go to Japan again. Well- After promotions for sure," She said remembering that a comeback was only just around the corner. "She's very supportive, actually. I have a video of her trying to learn Unforgiven. She's so adorable," Sakura snickered as she pulled out her phone searching for the video of her mother. She held it out to Wonyoung showing her mother doing her best to wiggle along to the song. Some of the moves were definitely wrong but it didn't change that she was doing her best and laughing having fun supporting her daughter.

a smile appeared on jungkook's face once kkura came into view—a familiar face after spending the last few months in the military giving him a sense of normalcy despite such a huge change in this stage of life. once he received the invitation, jungkook knew there was no way in the world he'd miss this; kkura was like a little sister to him, if she asked he was going to be there regardless. plus, he could show off his game-winning skills considering everyone was split into teams and were competing against one another. it was only a matter of time before his own competitive side came out and he began playing as if his life depended on winning. "alright, where do we start?" jungkook asked, rubbing his hands together in order to warm them up from the coolness they felt as a result of the building's air conditioner. "i'm sure everyone else might be busy arguing that they won't have time to search for everything," he continued, acknowledging the tenseness he saw during the pairing of teams. "and don't worry, i'm sure we'll win. we'll probably just have to think outside the box." jungkook gently took hold of kkura's hand before chuckling softly. "how good of a friend would i be if i missed your birthday?" he teased, "besides, i think everyone on base likes me, so getting a break was easy."

「 . ♡. * . ˚ 」 ...................→ sakura's fingers made quick work of the pink ribbon she'd chosen to tie everyone's hands together linking her with the older man as they got ready to begin their hunt. this birthday was one that she'd been the most excited for. it was so different now that le sserafim was established and she didn't have to worry so hard about whether or not the public would love them or accept her once again. this year, things weren't exactly easy but they were definitely a lot more smooth sailing than the past. she'd been working hard and this scavenger hunt was her idea of a fun time and so of course, she'd looped all her friends in, too. "i know. i think our only competition might be chaery and theo. he looked really into it! that makes me happy, actually. i was a little scared that not everyone would be into this but it's nice to see everyone have fun." she said nodding as she glanced at the list holding out so they could both read it. "even if you did have to miss it, i would understand. i'm glad that you didn't, though. you've been using your golden charms on everyone on base, too? no wonder! well, i'm glad then. honestly if they like you a lot, it means they have good taste. you're a good friend so they're lucky to have you," she said nodding. he'd been one of the first to support them when they debuted and even now, that wasn't something she could easily forget. "okay, let's look for the things that will be easiest to find first. i think the cat will be easiest to find...i asked to borrow other people's cats so they're in the building somewhere but i know one of the personal assistants keeps kitty treats in her desk for me so that when we're out and i see them i can feed them so let's try and find her desk first and then we can see if we can attract the kitties!"

"okay, okay, okay. i didn't hide these. manager-eonnie did, but i can spot a kirby plush from a mile away and i have a feeling that i know where yoona and irene sunbaenim's poca are." she said trying to think of the best places to hide a photocard. the obvious choice was amongst the cubicles in the hybe offices but they'd have to make sure they don't disturb anything since this wasn't exactly an event that she'd gotten approved by upper management. "we have to run because i know that some of the other teams are really competitive," she said jumping up and down in front of him when she reached him. she was excited for this birthday scavenger hunt, even if some of the teams seemed a bit hopeless since she knew they didn't like each other much. she was most worried about yunho and wonyoung but she tried her best not to make a funny face when she saw them paired together. still, her eyes lingered on her younger former member as they parted ways to begin the search. "i wanna win! i know it's my birthday so technically, i already won but i really, really, really want to win, oppa. let's do our best!" she said holding out a hand and grinning. "thank you for being here, by the way. it means a lot to me," she said knowing how busy the other was now that he was doing his service.
