They saw how badly public opinion tanked when they murdered Renee Good and Alex Pretti, and they really don't want another PR disaster like that on their hands. So, they're going to try and cover up Lorenzo Araujo's murder, as a cynical move to allow them to keep killing people without consequences.

The fact that he could mock a disabled reporter on camera and get laughs for it while not losing one bit of support proves the MAGAt Cult is morally bankrupt. Because that should have killed his political career, right there.
