In the rp community I really wish that people without mental illness would stop rping mental illness symptoms. I know some people are educated and know how to do it properly, but most rpers trying to depict serious mental illness synonyms (flashbacks/hallucinations/etc) can make mentally ill people look weird or even dangerous. Not to mention mentally ill people don’t like seeing their daily struggles being used as an rp plot to make it angsty or edgy or something. Now, mentally ill people portraying symptoms that they have is a different story though because they know exactly what they're doing. What I’m trying to say is, just try to be thoughtful of others?
