when i moved into my first own apartment 3 years ago it was like. logically achievable. like yeah i have one room where i can only just fit a bed a couch a tv a very small table and a desk, that makes sense. i had the second worst kitchen i've ever had to cook in only beaten by when i lived in student accommodation and had to share with 9 other people. now i have a REAL apartment with a real kitchen, and a big bathroom with in-unit laundry, one room that's just a bedroom and another room for our computers and my art supplies and my boyfriend's warhammer stuff, and the coziest living room in the world. and it's MINE i LIVE HERE we told a landlord we'd like to tour this place and then we said yeah we want to live here please and they said ok like we're adults who are allowed to do that. it's been 7 months since we moved in and i'm still in awe just walking around in here. so extremely lucky?
