No she didn’t? I love comparing there characters across Marvel and DC. They do have a lot of similarities, but like….no, Kate didn’t?

Kate was a superhero of her own accord and a member of a superhero team well before she ever teamed up with Clint because Clint WAS DEAD! Kate is not a sidekick who became her own hero. Kate was her own hero, teamed up with someone, got labled a sidekick, and then left that to once again be hero own hero. (And she’d have hated being called a sidekick at any point during that)

It’s The 4th of July, American Independence Day, so that means it’s time to do propaganda for my favorite 4th of July song, Independence Day by Martina McBride!

Now is it because this song is barely about The 4th? Possibly, but also because it’s great. It uses “Independence Day” as a double meaning. The first to be the actual day that the song takes place on. The second being a day of getting independence from an abusive relationship. It’s about the concept of independence and freedom, the supposed ideals of America, rather than patriotism or the founding of the country and everyone should go listen to it, even if you’re not American

Me and my friend have been reading The Count of Monte Cristo…just cause we want to. We’re on chapter five right now and we’ve come to the conclusion that this book probably would’ve gone a whole lot better for Danglars and Fernand if they kissed instead of framing an innocent man.

Clint’s reason for divorcing Bobbi is stupid as fuck, without a doubt. Divorcing your wife because she killed her RAPIST (yes I ignore the retcon, because it’s a stupid as fuck retcon) is a shitty thing. But regardless, they still continue to love each other. And I love that about them.

Bobbi divorced Clint twice, surely Lincoln Slade deserves death but their different moral compasses and other issues are much more complex than whether an implied mentally unstable sexual offender should fall to their death.

the first time Bobbi tried to divorce Clint was before she got abducted by the aliens so Clint DID NOT KNOW HES GETTING DIVORCED. The one he reconciled with is the skrullbobbi(h’rpra), then h’rpra died protecting Clint not long after that.

the second time was in hawkeye2012/v4/fraction/aja run, if i got to give it a reasonable explanation is that from Hawkeye&Mockingbird(2010): bc THEIR LOVE IS TOO POWERFUL AND DESTRUCTIVE, their current mental states are harmful for each other(mainly for Clint, he’s getting murderous, bc he’s uncontrollably turning closer to Bobbi, bc what clint got from their old mistakes is

Anyway being married or divorced is never serious for them, their love tho, is twice as serious as these two’s everything n assets n brain cells combined

Gwenpool! The character that got me into comics. As is common knowledge among Gwenpool fans her best run is The Unbelievable Gwenpool. The rest are okay to bad, but you should definitely read her Love Unlimited issues.

Fun fact: the reason her costume doesn’t have pants is because the seamstress ran out of that specific color of pink fabric and she ordered more, but Gwen decided it was more important to have an army of grown men dressed in her costume than pants
