every time i draw starfire i feel an urge to make her hair so big it takes up the entire page

theory that her hair is that big because the entirety of the teen titans is stuffed inside it (obviously for ambushing purposes)

There is this trend going on in TikTok and wanted to try my hand on. My first animation ever so no judgement please 🫣. This thought came especially with Starfire leaving the titans recently. Trying to go for Dick being bitter/missing her. ( I am not caught up with the comics but saw the panel of her leaving)

For the people who said that Starfire from Titans live action she was too “violent” or domineering or too “slutty”: this was a Q & A dated way back with the original creators of the New Teen Titans/ The New Titans, George Perez.

Also Dickbabs fan can stop saying that Kori & Dick’s relationship is forced or whatever cuz like the writer’s wrote Kori as a contributing factor to Dick’s transformation to Nightwing.

I really have no problem with dickbabs ship (I actually was one of them oops) but what I have a problem with is when people put her character down as like being Dick’s fuck buddy and diminish her significance in favour of the other ship... sorry I can’t stand that shit. at least no one had to re-write their stories so that they could be together unlike... you wouldn’t even have Nightwing period

Reading their dialogue is like experiencing the most painful game of Gay Chicken ever to unfold. Painfully obvious for Roy, painfully oblivious for Dick.

Roy does not and will remain not giving a fuck. Clearly.

Vanessa was brainwashed in the issue where she attacks Cassie's school and gets confronted by her but she's still a hater naturally.

I think this can also interestingly be read another way. Vanessa has way more experience with dealing with all the crazy stuff that comes with hanging out Diana. She was around Cassie's age when she first met Diana so naturally when she was that young it would have been "Cool" to be probed by the Gods. But now she's older and after having experiences, some like Doctor Psycho who have invaded her mind, it becomes far less cool and more invasive and more tiring to deal with.

To add to one of the previous ask: what's your favorite flaw(s) of Nightwing?

It’s gotta be self-isolation. Like I talked about in that previous ask Dick is one of the most well connected heroes in dc but he is determined to handle things by himself.

Dan Watters is portraying that aspect of his character very well (I feel I bring up Watters a lot but it’s the most recent run I’ve read so it’s in my brain rn) he’s doing a very good job with Dicks guilt complex and “something is holding me back from asking for help. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m the guy people call for help, not the other way around” aspect of his character.
