It's mainly based around Sonic and Tails. Tails went on a space mission with Sonic, which led to Sonic going super, and tails dying on their ship. Sonic has been stuck in super form ever since and stuck in space. Shadow amy and knuckles are still on earth, knowing Sonic is trapped and unknowing of tails death. Sonic has to live with his thoughts alone. Until eventually running out of the power to keep going and crashing down to earth, losing the chaos emeralds and some of his memories in the process.
