As the "people's king," he enacted numerous reforms benefiting the poor, which led to constant conflict with the nobility. His reign ended in a terrible tragedy during an attempt to bring back the dragons.

Maekar became neither a great reformer nor a tyrant. He fulfilled his royal duties honestly and effectively, yet his stern nature prevented him from winning the genuine love of his subjects. He died in battle while quelling the rebellion of Lord Ambrose Peake.

Every time a new Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin, and the whole world waits with bated breath to see which side it will land on. Daeron the Good became the side of the coin that brought peace and prosperity to the realm.

Viserys II Targaryen is one of the most underrated, yet effective, rulers of Westeros. For nearly a decade and a half, he remained in the shadows, de facto ruling the country while kings alternated on the throne. The people didn't give him a nickname, because they didn't know who actually ruled for 15 years, not just one.

No matter what anyone says, he truly ruled with dignity, considering all he had endured. He was not Viserys I, who rose to power at the height of its prosperity and stability. Despite plague and famine, he strove for peace and the restoration of the country after the war. And I think blaming him solely for the death of the dragons is like turning a blind eye to the entire Dance of the Dragon.

A pothelm (or topfhelm) is a medieval knightly "pot helmet" (from the German "Topfhelm" - pot-helmet) with a cylindrical or conical shape.

The crown is an element in the helmet's design, the shape of which is intended to resemble the Hightower.

Ahead of Season 3, I hope Rhaenyra's character will emerge, with the retaliatory cruelty that earned her the nickname "Maegor in a skirt." It's as if the directors took the place of the black characters, and only the green ones have flaws.
