J.J. giggles, pressing a final kiss to Kon's lips before slipping away with the clothes akin brought him in hand. He changes quickly in the bathroom, spending a moment trying to make his hair look like a slight less of a mess, giving up shortly after, and he pops out, and into the bedroom.

Kon had been smoothing out blankets and fluffing up pillows. He put the plush toy he bought on the nightstand. He stared up at the ceiling, grinning widely, seeing his beloved come in moments later. He opened his arms, sitting up against the headboard.

We’re doing great!.. Well, actually, J.J. had a panic attack. Some asshole told him he’s ruining my life. I’ve been making sure he’s relaxed while trying to find us an apartment and doing a bunch of personal stuff on the side and I haven’t slept well in a week- but we’re doing good! We’ve agreed on an apartment. It’s on the smaller side but has a great view and is very cozy.

Lex frowned and pulled Conner into a hug.

I'm glad you two found an apartment. I can help you figure that out. But I think you need to take a break for a minute, son.

Because it's a huge change and a massive responsibility. It won't get much easier, but I will help you two as much as you'll let me. You can take a break for just a moment.
